yes i did!! A lot of people were stuck and couldnt get out there driveways by our house so my fiance and i went and helped them out!!! Made us feel a lot better
yes, i saw my older neighbors were stuck and helped shovel them out (although i have been helped tremendously by others as well)
Yes. Helped quite a few cars that were stuck.
Yep...shoveled sidewalks, shoveled a car out and pulled 3 vehicles stuck on ice with my 4x4 truck.
I have helped many people on Parsonsburg Road. Many cars got stuck in snow drifts and had to be helped out.
I also plowed as many of my neighbors driveways as I could get to, in between plowing for work!

yes i deedy, we had our driveway plowed our neighbor's driveway plowed. helped neighbor shovel out his truck and used my 4x4 to pull him out of the drifts that we didn't dig out enough. pulling with the 4x4 was much easier than the digging that's for sure...
No I have been home with a bad back.
Yes by creating a phone chain to delegate out help for closer residents of various elderly homebound sick. Also used my tow rope to pull out a family stuck in an ice block.
We attempted to & got stuck ourselves. They were still very grateful.
yes, I have helped dig out several people. Also witnessed the county dropping salt down our road and 3 minutes later another county plow plows it all off. No wonder we are short on salt. Two plows just rode by with their plows down plowing nothing but road!

yes, in both our neighborhood at home and at work. funny but true story, our office is in a business/residential area in the city and we plowed the entire street and some private driveways when possible to help free people. our men were out in the freezing cold helping stuck cars in the neighborhood and helping older residents free their cars. then, a friend called to let us know that someone had posted a negative comment about our company saying we passed by and didn't help a stranded vehicle - which is totally untrue! Oh well, if you dont laugh, you'll cry! we didn't do it for the recognition, so we didn't let the negatives detract from feeling good about helping out.
Yes we plowed out our neighbors drives out all 3 times. we live in a neighborhood of mostly older folks.THEY Are so greatful when you help them out ..Keep up the good work folks...

I'm not able to get out and shovel but I did make dinner for my neighbor who's electric went out. I cooked on my grill during the power outage.
Yep, traveling to get items for my neighbors witout transportation. We paid for a lot of what they need because they are senior citizens on fixed incomes who don't have the luxury of picking things up when ever the weather demands it being done!
My family helped by not being a Burden...Stayed off the roads...didn't expect anyone to shovel us out for free....stayed under the covers when electric was out..didn't call Delmarva electric to complain....had emergency supplies in the home...

No. I sat on my a$$ and took bets over the phone as to which elderly neighbor would keel over first!(did you really expect that answer???)
Hell, yeah, I helped! at least 5 neighbors and kept them cleared after the second and third wave!

Sure did! Helped a neighbor shovel their driveway and I also called a farmer friend with a tractor to get my neighbors and a Sherrif's office vehicle out of some very big snow drifts...

Yes, I helped an elderly neighbor couple. I shoveled their sidewalk and cleared around their vehicle. I also repaired a storm door for them and offered to pick up anything they needed from the store so they wouldn't have to go out in this mess.
Took tractor plowed out alot of driveways no charge and elderly were first priority. Thats the way we were taught growing up
The first storm hit the weekend before the first of the month. This is when social security checks went out. While most of us have direct deposit for our paychecks, there are still who are set in their ways. They might not of gotten out to cash it before the next storm hit followed by another within days. Please call your family members/friends who you know collects a check. They might be to proud to ask for help especially when it has to do with money. Many of these people, it's the only money they have to live on. We're two weeks into the month, they may need help more than they will admit to it.

Yes, thousands. I operate a plow for one, and have pushed over dozens of people out that were stuck.
Yep, several folks stuck in front of our home on Rockawalkin-Hebron, also on the way home from work during storm-really got bad-fast,helped a lady and her son with car stuck in drift. So great to see everyone helping each other.
