U.S. Rep. Pete Hoekstra, R-Holland, has reintroduced a bill that would allow voters to recall members of Congress.
"Government does not merely allow for citizen participation — it depends upon it," Hoekstra said. "Voters elected a Republican candidate opposed to the health care overhaul in Massachusetts in one of the most liberal states in America. They made their voices heard in what was effectively a recall of a Senate seat that had been held captive by one political party for 31 years."
The recall bill would be an amendment to the Constitution that allows voters in all 50 states to circulate petitions to demand a special election to recall members of the U.S. House of Representatives and U.S. Senate.
It is part of a series of five legislative initiatives called the "Voters' Bill of Rights" that Hoekstra introduced initially in 1994.

9:02 $ 9:46am.....PARTISAN???
rofl! That goes to show what you think of your own party.....the bill would include ANY party! It's exactly what we need, but they'll NEVER pass anything that might hold them accountable. 9:46 you lazy butt, shame your unwilling to anything to help save this Country!
Scott Brown doesn't oppose health care reform. He supported it for Massachusetts. Hoekstra doesn't even know what Scott Brown stands for.
Do any of you Conservatives know?
and we already have a recall. It's called an election, and it happens every 2 years.
