Delmar Farmers

Joe,

Here are a few pictures of another awesome Delmar, DE farmer. He spent his whole day plowing out our road & neighbors last week, and he did it again yesterday! We are so fortunate to have wonderful farmers helping us out, we just wanted to say thank you!

Sincerely,

Happy Neighbors in Delmar

I wold love to know why the people within the city limits of Delmar ( that pay city taxes!!!) are still snowed in and can't get out of the new developments like Bridgewood Estates? I can see the cars passing on the highway but can't get out! I guy came in with a plow, didn't do much, then left.

Yesterday while several memebers of the family got together and shoveled out my father in law, we were joking about the fact that the government had yet to show up and bail us out! Funny how red state folks take matters into their own hands - like farmers, and are self sufficient. Meanwhile the city libs are all sitting around moaning "woe is me..."

Maybe you should check and see if it's written that your "Homeowners Association" is responsible for clearing your roads of snow. Quite a few developers wrote this in to their contracts around the area and that releases the Town from plowing your roads for snow. Do you pay HOA fees? If you do, this type of stuff is what is covered in there some of the time.
I think I'd check before I started spouting off whining that the government didn't do something for me.

How much additional taxes would you like to pay to insure every development's streets get plowed by the Town?
You are considered a notch down on the list AFTER secondary roads, in case you didn't know that.

A farmer came to our rescue in Holy Ridge. (Delmar, DE) $20 for a 100 foot driveway. He also did the whole development (roadways) for $70. Love Delmar!!!

My new best friends Mike and Danny came and did my walk and driveway for a pittance on Sunday afternoon. I couldn't have gotten to work today if it wasn't for them. You guys are the greatest! Whatcha doing on wednesday?? LOL

Jen (giving thanks for great neighbors)

Thanks to the Farmer, great job for helping the community. Who was it btw?

The town of Delmar did come to plow my community yesterday. They apologized for not having us on the list of areas to be plowed that were in city limits :)

Mayor Niblett uses a snow blower to clear the sidewalks on both sides of his block on Pine Street every time it snows.
