CBN News has learned exclusively that five Muslim soldiers at Fort Jackson in South Carolina were arrested just before Christmas. It is unclear whether the men are still in custody. The five were part of the Arabic Translation program at the base.
The men are suspected of trying to poison the food supply at Fort Jackson.
A source with intimate knowledge of the investigation, which is ongoing, told CBN News investigators suspect the "Fort Jackson Five" may have been in contact with the group of five Washington, DC area Muslims that traveled to Pakistan to wage jihad against U.S. troops in December. That group was arrested by Pakistani authorities, also just before Christmas.
Coming as it does on the heels of November's Fort Hood jihadist massacre, this news has major implications.

And it just cracks me up that not only if they had managed to poison soldiers it would give you ammo, but if they are stopped that somehow that still gives you ammo. And really, you don't trash leaders with policies that differ? I am not even sure you are living on this planet.
I don't know how it is not considered a conflict of interest having Muslims in our military or a security breach since we are at war w/them. I know not all Muslims are not violent, but they should not be allowed period! We can't take the chance! This and Food Hood are two prime cases in point! We can't let the fox guard the hen house!
2:39 more of the ill-informed ES logic. Don't you realize we have muslims in Iraq and Afghan. fighting right beside our men and women to take back their countries? Do you also not realize that in order to gather intelligence and infiltrate these groups, we need men and women with real knowledge of the language and culture. And in case you haven't heard, there are $hitloads of muslims in this country, a vast majority of which neither support or sympathize with terrorists.
Hell, maybe we should ban white men from the military since we've seen alot of attacks on the homeland being perpetrated by this group. Joe, this is called sarcasm, don't take it literally and reject the comment.
