U.S. Senate Candidate Eric Wargotz

U.S. Senate Candidate Wargotz 'Freezin for a Reason' in Game-Changer Election for Scott Brown in Massachusetts

Maryland.
Queen Anne's County Commissioner Eric Wargotz took time off from his own campaign for U.S. Senate in Maryland to travel to Massachusetts over the weekend to work for Scott Brown's Senate campaign. Commissioner Wargotz stated, "We felt the single most important thing we could do for our Country was to be in Massachusetts helping Scott Brown be the 41st vote against socialized medicine." Wargotz volunteered with the Brown Campaign's "Freezin' for a Reason" get-out-the-vote effort by going door-to-door in six inches of fresh snow.

"It was amazing to watch the voters take back their Senate seat. The common theme at the polls was that people were tired of being told what do and how to vote. They were tired of machine politics that produced nothing but bigger government, less choices and less freedoms," said Wargotz. "After meeting voters on their doorsteps, many asked how they could help. These were - Republicans, Independents and Democrats - who had simply had enough. I was witnessing history unfold before my eyes.

The same game-changing history is now unfolding here in Maryland. For decades, Maryland's U.S. Senate seats have been controlled by special interest groups and have been entirely unresponsive to the needs of the average Marylander. But Marylanders, much like the citizens of Massachusetts, are tired of politicians who think they "own" their seat. The two U.S. Senate seats afforded Maryland by our Constitution are owned by the citizens of Maryland. This fall, look for the citizens of Maryland to take one back!

The voters can do the same thing in Maryland. My attendance at T.E.A. Party rallies, in my mind has confirmed this.

The disenchantment with the leadership of Pres. Obama and the Democrat encumbents, along with some of the Republicans, will lead to possibility of electing a Republican to the U. S. Senate this fall.

I have begun to look a little more closely at Jim Rutledge, since the outcome in Massachusetts.

It is going to be an exciting election year, and as the billboard you have shown on this site suggests, we must continue the Revolution tht has begun in New Jersey, Virginia and Massachusetts!

Met Dr. Wargotz at the "Code red" tea party in DC. Shame he didn't get to speak. A fine man and cool that he helped Brown in Mass! His actions are louder than empty angry rhetoric. There's initiative, there's team effort, there's LEADERSHIP. Haven't seen any experience or leadership from any other candidates.

What happened in Mass was unique. The MD senate race will have it's own recipe and Wargotz, imho, is the main ingredient necessary to win.

Why must it be one or the other. Neither can be totally trusted. Let's start a new party The UNIFIED PARTY

If Eric is such a great conservative, then why does he have zero support among conservatives in his home county?

The two biggest conservative blocks there are the business community, and the farmers. Those two groups actively oppose the guy.

Do you really want another Arlen Specter? Another Gilcrest?

Do some due diligence, ask around his county, and then decide.

I have asked around. You must be the only one in his county who dislikes him. Something personal I guess. Everyone I have spoken with there, even business folks and many farmers, respect him even though they might not always agree with him. They state he is just as I thought: honorable, honest and decent. Treats everyone with respect and concern. They say they'll vote for him. You might want to consider broadening your view. Even Gilchrist and Specter seem to be more respectful of other views than you.

Dr. Wargotz makes me proud to be from Maryland. I believe that Dr. Wargotz is the model for future conservative leadership. Candidates like Dr. Wargotz and Scott Brown will really help move this country in the RIGHT direction!
