Salisbury Police Department Press Releases


On January 8, 2010 at approximately 11:20 am, Officers of the Salisbury Police received a call to respond to the Denny’s Restaurant on Punkin Court in Salisbury for the report of a theft. Upon arrival the officers met with store management who advised that an employee of the business had been taking cash payments from customers and keeping the cash.

ARRESTED: Juvenile, 16 years of age
Salisbury, Maryland

CHARGES: Theft (under $ 100) (2 counts)
Theft scheme
Forgery

DISPOSITION: Released to guardian

On January 9, 2010 at approximately 12:15 pm, Officers of the Salisbury Police received a call to respond to the Thrift Travel Inn for the report of a subject refusing to leave the property. Upon arrival the officers met with the below listed suspect who also refused to leave the property for the officers.

ARRESTED: Michael (nmn) Ditommaso, 38 years of age
Langhorn, Pennsylvania

CHARGES: Trespassing

DISPOSITION: Released to Central Booking

On January 9, 2010 at approximately 5:17 pm, Officers of the Salisbury Police received a call to respond to the Giant Pharmacy on South Salisbury Boulevard for the report of a subject with a fraudulent prescription. Upon arrival the officers met with store management who advised that the below listed suspect was attempting to fill a fraudulent prescription. Employees of the pharmacy became suspicious when observing the prescription and checked with the issuing Doctor, learning that the prescription had been forged.

ARRESTED: Antonio Jamar Hunter, 23 years of age
Salisbury, Maryland

CHARGES: Attempt to obtain CDS by altered prescription
Attempt to obtain CDS by forgery
Attempt to obtain CDS by uttering prescription
Attempt to obtain CDS by fraud
Counterfeiting a prescription
Issuing a counterfeit prescription
Possession of a counterfeit prescription

DISPOSITION: Released to Central Booking

On January 10, 2010 at approximately 5:54 pm, Officers of the Salisbury Police received a call to respond to the east parking lot of the Centre at Salisbury for the report of an assault. Upon arrival the officers met with a juvenile female victim who advised that the below listed suspects had assaulted her in the parking lot area. The assault was broken up by Mall Security.

ARRESTED #2: Juvenile, 14 years of age

ARRESTED #3: Juvenile, 15 years of age

Malicious destruction of property
