Worcester County Sheriff’s Office Press Release

On November 29, 2009 at 5:00 p.m., the Worcester County Sheriff's Office responded to a residence on Snow Hill Road, Snow Hill, Maryland in reference to subject who had been assaulted by a man with a rifle. Upon arrival, Deputies met with the victim who indicated that he had been involved in a verbal argument with another male subject who was later identified as, Juan Terrones Castillo age 64 of Snow Hill, Maryland.

During the course of the argument, Mr. Terrones is alleged to have pointed a loaded rifle at the victim and threatened the victim. Deputies arrested Mr. Terrones and charged him with 1st and 2nd Degree Assault, and reckless endangerment. Mr. Terrones was taken before a judicial officer and released on a $25,000 unsecured bond. A 30-30 rifle was recovered from Mr. Terrones.

UNSECURED!?!?!?! Wow... another shining example of the total lack of accountability in the Worcester County criminal justice system. When is someone going to start calling these people on this?
