Salisbury Police Department Press Release

On December 18, 2009 at approximately 9:10 am, Officers of the Salisbury Police arrested the below listed suspect on an outstanding Body Attachment issued by the Worcester County Circuit Court. The warrant was issued as a result of the suspect failing to appear for his contempt hearing.
ARRESTED: Arthur Ronald Harmon, 49 years of age, Salisbury, Maryland
CHARGES: Worcester Co. Circuit Court Body Attachment – Failure to appear for contempt hearing
DISPOSITION: Released to Central Booking CC # 200900044667

On December 18, 2009 at approximately 5:25 pm, Officers of the Salisbury Police received a call to respond to the Walmart Department Store for the report of a shoplifter. Upon arrival the officers met with security personnel who advised the officers that store personnel had observed the below listed suspect taken clothing from the store without making payment. The suspect also had a prior trespassing notice from the store which she violated. The clothing was recovered and returned to the store.

CHARGES: Theft (under $ 1000), Trespassing
DISPOSITION: Released to Central Booking, CC # 200900044736

On December 19, 2009 at approximately 1:26 pm, Officers of the Salisbury Police received a call to respond to the Walmart Store for the report of a shoplifter. Upon arrival the officers met with security personnel who advised that the below listed suspect had been observed by store employees taking clothing without making payment. The clothing was recovered and returned to the store.
ARRESTED: Woodrow Lee Manning, 46 years of age
Eden, Maryland
CHARGES: Theft (under $ 100)
DISPOSITION: Released to Central Booking, CC # 200900044816

On December 20, 2009 at approximately 2:30 am, Officers of the Salisbury Police Department were on routine patrol in the area of North Salisbury Boulevard and observed the below listed suspect acting in a suspicious manner. As the officers approached the suspect, the suspect discarded an item and walked away from the officers. The item was retrieved and found to be a smoking device containing suspected “crack”/cocaine. The suspect was taken into custody without incident.
ARRESTED: Jeffrey Bruce Serres, 32 years of age, Fruitland, Maryland
CHARGES: Possession of cocaine, Possession of CDS/paraphernalia
DISPOSITION: Released to Central Booking, CC # 200900044880

On December 21, 2009 at approximately 9:30 pm, Officers of the Salisbury Police received a call to respond to the Sears Department Store at the Centre at Salisbury for the report of three (3) shoplifters. Upon arrival the officers met with store security who advised that the below listed suspects had been observed taking clothing from the store without making payment. The suspects were stopped and found to also have clothing taken from other stores in the Centre. The clothing was recovered and returned to the respective stores.
ARRESTED #1: Kirstie Lynn Reed, 18 years of age, Seaford, Delaware
ARRESTED #2: Juvenile, 13 years of age, Seaford, Delaware
ARRESTED #3: Juvenile, 17 years of age, Bridgeville, Maryland
CHARGES (All): Theft (under $ 1000)
DISPOSITIONS: Suspect # 1 released to Central Booking, Suspects # 2 and # 3 released to parents
