Plymouth Valiant - East Side Deli Shooting

Several readers have written in to ask for some pictures of the type of car that the shooter at the East Side Deli may have been driving. Below are picture examples of some Plymouth Valiant models made between 1965 and 1969. Remember that some small variations in design occurred during each of the model years, so this display isn't inclusive of all of them.

Witnesse(s) state that the vehicle in question is white in color. If you've seen a vehicle that matches the description, or know someone who has, either call or encourage them to call the Salisbury Police Department at 410-548-3165, or Crime Solvers at 410-548-1776.

Rembember, calls can be made ANONYMOUSLY to either organization, and that Crime Solvers is offering a reward for information up to and including $4000. Find out more by visiting Crime Solvers here.

There is a mid 1960's white "Chevy Malibu" parked at 1010 Philips Ave, could be mistaken for the Plymouth. A deputy for Wicomic used to live on that block, since he and his family has moved it all went to hell.

The motor vehicle files are set up in a way that police officers can set up parameters to perform specific searches. For example, in the case of this vehicle, investigators can enter make, model, year(s), and zip codes they want the MVA files to search. When the search is complete, the results will be a list showing the last registered address where all those vehicles should be located. Same can be done with partial tag number.

Give the SPD a call. The worst that could happen is that they run the tags and either keep it as a lead or ditch it as not being a lead. Who knows?
Maybe the car was borrowed from some grandpa's garage without the owner knowing it. Weirder things have happened.
