Looks like the Staff Lounge of the school where I work. All the white teachers and assistants at one end, and all the black teachers and assistants at the other end. Some things never change as we all practice self-segregation.
As I look at this presentation, I see the native Americans despicted as drunken heathens with no table manners, sitting apart from the "mightier than thou" white folks. Child hiding behind apron, looking on in fear. Not what the word "Thanksgiving" would seem to imply. The native Americans were exploited to such an extent, their nation and land were completely taken away by the immigrants. America, as it is now, seems to be following a similar fate today.

I am not sure what the others were looking at but I watched a very touching video about what we have to be thankful for. Very touching.

You have to be living on another planet if you don't think the scene that 9:37 repeated is likely to be true. Take a look at your church on Sun. then drive over to the "black" church. I enjoy white folks, but yes, often times I gravitate to predominantly black events.
As for 9:46's comment, 11:52 has to be blind to history not to see that both in history books and in discussion of the present, we are often presented with a euro-centric view point with the underlying implication that "white is right". Again, nothing racist about the comment. If you go to Brazil, China, Africa, Italy, you'll get the same thing; only "euro-centric" will be replaced by the whatever the dominant culture of the country is.
9:46 here. I was referring to the Thanksgiving scene, not the presentation. Mea Culpa. 10:21, My message was just an interpretation of the picture, as I saw it. It was a critical, thoughtful observation..apparently not something you are capable of performing. It is a shallow mind that can only respond by name-calling.
I didn't do any name calling just an observation of your comments in fact your the one who did the name calling so that should clear up who has the shallow mind !

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but I think the one you wanted to go after was 10:21. 9:46 actually didn't do any name calling.

Look again, my post was to 9:13, who was responding to my 6:34 post about his 10:21 post on my 9:46 post.(Whew!) You are right, I didn't do any name calling on my 9:46 post. It was 10:21 that could only respond to my post with name calling and no rational discourse.
But thank you for noticing.
