Do you have any ideas why the Wicomico County Tourism needs to sponsor bus trips out of our county? I thought they were supposed to bring tourism into the county.

There are many counties that do this. It is just another way to bring in some money.

Who the hell wants to visit the #2 worse crime area in the U.S. . I see why they are busing them out.
It's sponsored by the RECREATION and Parks. They are organizing some trips for our recreation. It's not like they can bring the Philly Flower Show here! Worcester County does trips like this as well.
I believe that "tourism" means tourism...why wouldnt the people of Wicomico County want to tour some other areas as well? This is a good thing, UNLESS the gov't is subsidizing these trips somehow. If they pay for themselves then all good.
I might want to take a nice bus trip someday. It sounds like fun.
What would they come here to see?After Perdue Stadium and the colleges theres nothing left but emplty buildings and gangs on street corners.As long as the county isnt subsidizing trips,its cool
It is wonderful that Tourism and Recs and parks sponsors these trips Without them, many older citizens would not be able to go to places outside of the county ( some people won't drive across the bridge) and I am sure the county makes a little bit of money for these trips. Lighten up folks. Tis the season!!!
And no, I have NO interest in either of those places, but do know people that enjoy those trip.
