Pictorial Highlighs from Thursday Night's AFP Meeting

Once again Americans For Prosperity gathered at Adams Ribs in Fruitland for the Wicomico County Chapter Meeting, Tuesday November 19th. We had a full adgenda that included information on the current Health Care Bill in the Senate and action items to combat big government, big spending, and high taxes. We had some great guests to speak about Cap and Trade, and the Wicomico County budget issues.
Bob Behlke of Choptank Electric Co-op speaks and informs citizen activists about the details of Cap and Trade and what it means to their wallet.
John Cannon speaks to and answers concerns about the Wicomico County budget shortfall, the coming cuts, and the Maintence of Effort with the Board of Education

Joe Collins from AFP and John Palmer from VOICE detail Wicomico County budget problems and the things we never knew, before

We had some other great guests, including Joe Holloway from the Wicomico County Council.

Sincere thanks to all that came out and participated.

How were the ribs? Small and expensive I bet.

Did Cannon or Holloway promise to cut the "public information officer" position on Pollitt's staff -- did anyone ask them why Fineran is now trying to rally support to kill the tax cap?

2:29 Do some research, it's not a tax cap. Most of the folks in favor of repealing the Revenue Cap would support a tax cap. There's a HUGE difference. A tax cap holds the line on each of our tax bills, while allowing the county to keep up with growth.

Great questions 2:29

We needed you there. I'm not sure if those questions were posed or not...as I was pulling double duty. I will follow up and ask that in email.
