"Resolution No. 1836 - adding two rifles forfeited by the Circuit Court of Wicomico County to the Salisbury Police Department’s weapons inventory"

I wonder what the Wicomico County Sheriff's Office does with it's confiscated/forfeited weapons? Sheriff Nelms used to "trade" them to his buddy for ammo instead of auctioning them off.

Does anyone know if this is still the common practice?

Who cares? It's 2 guns out of criminal hands and into hands here to protect us by whatever means best.

What land at Harbor Pointe? Oh, this should be a good one. More property taken off the city tax rolls.

$900,000.00 for a fire boat you dont need. I wish someone would take that fire boat and shove it your asses. You people are just stupid, stupid as mudd.

It's not really a question of whether they need it or not. The question to be answered is can they afford to keep it once they get it.

They don't have enough people to man the million dollar fire trucks they just bought. Where are they going to get people QUALIFIED to run this boat?

There is no place on the river that can not be accessed by land in the event of fire. Even if Bill Gordy's house catches on fire they can put a tanker down by the river and suck the water out of there to control the blaze. We don't need a boat just for his house.

Why would they want to put an assisted living facility in the middle of all the hustle and bustle of a commercial district?

They will never do the RIGHT thing until Fear enters their lives. Thats just the way it is. Some people respect nothing except fear.

Has anyone asked what is the maintenance cost on a piece of equipment like this? From what source is this funding being provided?

Anonymous said...

It may require a captains license. The insurance must be un-believable. Where to put it when the river freezes over. Jet drive huh, better clean the river before operating. When did the fire department get the keys to the city & who gave them to them?

If Terry & Debbie vote for this they have lost all my respect.

They'll raise taxes to maintain this new party boat if they have to. SFD doesn't do any work to raise money they just send out mailers to be recycled in the trash. Do you think Bill Gordy or Rick Hoppes cares where the money comes from as long as they get the toys they want? They'll just sink this boat like the did the other one. They are worse than spoiled children they don't take care of anything cause the taxpayers and Gary Comegys will buy them new toys.

We'll see at 6PM who has ASCROTM and who doesn't. To date the only ones with ASCROTM on the council are Campbell and Cohen.

Is anyone at the SFD Dog and Pony Show to give us updates?
