Heart To Heart, Thirsty?

Before or after a long, hard day's work, Thirsty's is the place to be to quench that thirst.

Whats the problem??????????????

Honestly, thats a good spot to hang. Right in the middle where EMS will most likely be needed.

They do sell more than just alcohol. You really love to stir things up, don't you? Since you were right accross the street when you took the photo, why didn't you just ask what they were doing.

I thought they were a private ambulance company anyway.

I can tell ya what they were doing cause I was part of the crew we had just return from a transport to Baltimore and as soon as we arrived back to Salisbury we were paged to another transport back to Baltimore and we got coffee and sode. We do not like WaWa to much traffic and we always go here but there was ots of traffic there then also. So here are true facts.

That's a private ambulance company.

They could be getting coffee or a soft drink. What agenda are you promoting Did they fail to give you something you demanded of them??????? This is total non-sense. I am emailing them to let them know and suggesting they take leagl action. Horseshit

anonymous 10:37, since you're one of them, (clearly) bring it on you Idiot. You can't sue me for posting this information. Then again, why not do so. I'll get all the Press, (unlike the obese one) and even MORE people will come to Salisbury News, or perhaps you've been too stupid to recognize I', smarter than the average bear!

Bring it on Idiot and next time find another place to park/shop. ROTFLMAO

What's the point of this?

anonymous 10:40 has to be JR! No one else is that stupid, on purpose.

I should add, there have been at least 5 different people claiming they were the ones on the Ambulance and all 5 gave different stories. They've gone from, we were putting air in the tires to, well, you see some of the others. The reason I didn't post the others are because they were cursing so bad I couldn't allow them up.

So just how many drivers were in this vehicle. You got snagged in a BIG way and you're ALL just pissed I snapped the photo. Get a lawyer, really, I could use more FREE press.

Joe, I honestly don't understand the point to this post?
Hart to Heart is a private ambulance company. Meaning they recieve no government money or tax payer money.
I mean this is just like taking a picture of lets say, a pizza delivery car parked at Thirsty's. What's the point?
Sorry for not understanding.

Actually Mr. Albero, in your haste to jump to conclusions and make someone else in this town look bad, you ended up just looking stupid. I would appreciate if you would show the same respect to my employees as you would your own (if you have any). Only one person has come to me and said that you took a picture and they were upset about this, so I think some of your other comments are fake.

Hart 2 Heart is a private ambulance company. They have no real "fire station" to base themselves out of. When there are no calls for them to transport, the time is theirs. That means they can sleep in a parking lot, go to a store, hang out at the mall, what have you- as long as it isn't unprofessional, illegal, or bringing the company into a bad light.

It is not uncommon to see private ambulances, not just our company, at a convenience store grabbing something for the run. There are some days that crews do not get time to eat a nice, sit-down type of meal. That is why we encourage them to bring their food for the shift. Sometimes there is more downtime than others.

I hope this clears this up. These employees were doing nothing wrong.

Jason, if you think I have the time to create fake comments, well, you go right ahead and believe that.

That being said, I actually crawled out of bed today at around 11:00 AM and comments were moderated by someone else, so that blows your theory to pieces for starters. Secondly, I'm not so desperate for comments, (unlike ALL of the other Blogs on the Eastern Shore) that I have to write comments just to piss you off. That being said, allow me to go on.

If YOUR people are encouraged to pull over and sleep at a local Beer Garden, well Sir, you go right ahead and encourage that. I never once implied YOU had anything to do with any Fire Department in my Post. The Fire Department wouldn't be caught dead in that kind of parking lot.

In the mean time, I captured the image, I posted the photo and if YOU don't like it, get a lawyer. I'd say it would be a LOT cheaper making sure YOUR Staff doesn't park in such places any more.

As someone who was transported to JHH via Heart to Heart I know they DO make coffee stops. On our way in the middle of the night we stopped in Cambridge at Duncan Donuts which wasn't open. So we went on to Easton to stop at Duncan Donuts for coffee. My family was told at the hospital by the driver to go on ahead so they had a head start. They stopped at the outlets in Queenstown because they hadn't seen us behind them. Due to the emergency they figured that we should of passed them by that point. They called the driver on his cellphone, we were in the parking lot in Easton. He told my sister that there was a hold up with the paperwork from PRMC which caused us to get a later start. My family was waiting for us at JHH when we arrived at 4:00 am. Seems to me they would of taken care of the coffee problem before we left PRMC, not on the way with a patient in the back.

Jason,
Well, for one, having spoken to quite a few of the employees that work for hart to heart they have informed us on rules with downtime. And one of those is they are NOT allowed to sleep. So how can you say that when your own employees say they can't. And you have quite a few of them that if given the opportunity to leave they would. Hmmmmm

Anonymous said...

so the employees stop on transports with patients onboard. That is excellent patient care / customer service.

How much money would be saved if the city privatized the ambulances and let heart to heart of life star run calls? It is being done all over the country.

Anonymous said...

should of called lifestar they wouldn't of stopped for coffee lol

I'll say the stop to get coffee while amidst a transport is quite moronic, besides the point what is the big deal obviously you don't get out much Mr. Albero because if you did you would see that 95% of all gas stations/convenience stores actually more that 95% sell alcohol at least in the Salisbury area. The only convenience store that I can think of that doesn't is WaWa. I believe there are more important things that you could be posting about as could I but this is just a waste of resources and time on your part, and makes me think to ask what in your life have you done that is so special that you can put down everyone else in a rude and crude fashion. Mr. Albero your first name is Joe not God and until that changes you have no right to judge nor condemn or make an example out of anyone.
