So much for the TRUTH! While many were saying they were going to re-open, it was a complete lie because there was no way humanly possible they were swinging their doors this past weekend, as stated on the Owners Face Book Page.
Nevertheless, while many were sending in comments calling me a liar, (mostly employees) I was right and each and every one of you were wrong!
Nevertheless, here's what it NOW says on their Website.
Cowboyz is officially closed for the 2009 Season.
"Due to unfortunate circumstances Cowboyz is closed indefinitely and we are currently reviewing offers for sale of the business and its contents. Cowboyz is a beautifully maintained restaurant which took two years to build and transform it from a dilapidated run down shell to its current state which is one of the most impressive venues on the eastern shore. Cowboyz did however have an agreement to reopen this Saturday 9/19/09 from the Worcester County Health Department and a re-inspection was set up. The issue as to why this meeting did not happen is debatable but suffice it to say it did not take place. Any previous violations noted by the Health Dept were corrected within hours, sometimes minutes of the second Health Inspection. We were at first told that the business could not be reopened without an administrative hearing but later were told that in fact we could reopen."
What the OWNER failed to mention was his additional LIQUOR VIOLATIONS and the hearings set up for this week. He didn't have a Liquor License to re-open, screw the Health Department issues. The image below is one of the close employees from Cowboyz who has since removed her Website as well. It's been reported that this young lady recently turned 21 and is allegedly engaged to the Owner of Cowboyz. It was also reported that this individual was seen in one of the videos drinking alcohol allegedly at the establishment BEFORE she turned 21.

I spoke personally to the health inspector, as anyone can, and he told me Sat that Johnny Brooks had an appt to meet him at Cowboyz for re-inspection. Mr. Potetz arrived to find a barricaded door and no Johnny Brooks. He attempted to call JB but his phone had been disconnected. I'm beginning to think that JB is not capable of telling the truth about anything. I think he'd tell you red was blue. Everything he's said has been proven false and he still has an answer for everything! I'm w/ the benefit that was suppose to take place there thurs. We are not associated w/ JB or Cowboyz, it was a great location and at the time we booked it (last Jan.) it was a nice place. We are rescheduling the benefit at a different venue. We will pass the info on to Joe so he can post it on here. Thanks to everyone that continues to support the (Save the...) BreastFest.

Actually I recognize Krista in these photos. I was her care giver at the hospital back in May when she came in complaining of severe pain in her lower quadrant and heavy bleeding. She did suffer from a miss carriage. Not sure of how far along she was or if it was by the dead guy you are talking about. However, I find it funny she did amateur porn... Do you seriously just stop something like that? I think not and I'm sure she is on other websites. Im sure her parents are real proud of their daughter. This is all very unfortunate for a lot of people involved. Think of all the people now looking for jobs. Krista did not get kicked out of Chris' parents they just felt it was time for her to get back to her life. She is a young woman trying to find her way. I think all of us have made mistakes we are not so proud of. Try not to sit in judgement for you may be the one in the wrong spot one day. Loosing my son has made me look at things a lot differently. Learn to forgive and live your own life, it's too short to spend prescious moments judging others. Chris would think it was all a hoot! Chris Mom.

I can say that none of the occurances rumored to have taken place at Cowboyz have any reflection to the CrabCake Factory. The two are completely seperate businesses owned by the same sleezy owner. The thing is that Cowboyz reputation is effecting the CrabCake Factory which employs many moral, responsible individuals that do not need the business ruined by association. The CrabCake factory is run very differently than cowboyz and has been proffesional for many years without any stigma. I understand this blog is trying to starighten out fact from fiction, but please keep in mind that it is affecting many people's lives who are just trying to make a living morrally!

While there are some good people that work at the Crabcake Factory (and some cool people that hang out there too), don't tell me that place isn't full of controversy. Isn't the Crabcake Factory the same place where Johnny was dating the female GM who was his age, and then abruptly started dating the foreign waitress much younger than him? Isn't it the same place where he dated her and did it under the female GM's nose and the other employees had to play dumb due to the conflict of interest?
