“Six Months Later and What Do You Get?”

The “Stimulus” Package:

“Six Months Later and What Do You Get?”

RSC Communications Activity
Although the House will be out of session until September 8, 2009, the RSC continues to fight back against the Democrats’ attempts to spin the facts.

· Last week, Chairman Tom Price (GA-06) appeared on CNN to discuss the realities of the Democrats’ so-called “public option” and the Empowering Patient’s First Act, the RSC’s proposal for patient-centered health care reform.

· When the House of Representatives gavels back into session in a few weeks, all of the debate and committee votes on H.R. 3200 will essentially be reconciled by one person – Speaker Nancy Pelosi.

· In press conferences and town halls across the country, President Obama continues to make the false claim that the Democrats’ proposals will allow those who like their current health care plan to keep it. Of course, he conveniently forgets to mention all the exceptions
