Robbery Probed By Detectives


Location: Sandy Fork Store on Laurel Road (SR 24) east of Laurel

Date of Occurrence: August 27, 2009

Suspect(s): Light skinned Black Male, in his twenty’s, approximately 5’11 to 6’00 tall, thin build, short cropped hair, and freckles on his face. The vehicle was described as a 1990’s model dark tan/ beige Jeep Grand Cherokee with a lighter tan trim panel bearing a Delaware registration.

Resume: On Thursday August 27, 2009 at approximately 10:00 a.m. a light skinned black male entered the Sandy Fork Store, on State Road 24, east of Laurel.

The suspect retrieved a soda from a drink cooler and walked up to the cashier to pay. When the clerk opened the cash register drawer to complete the sale, the suspect reached over the counter and pushed the clerk out of the way. As the suspect reached into the register and grabbed an undisclosed amount of cash, the clerk noticed the suspect was holding a silver handgun.

The suspect fled the store in a tan Jeep Cherokee, displaying a Delaware registration plate. The vehicle was last seen traveling westbound on Laurel Road.

NICE! This is a mile from my house! What the h@ll? Seriously....get a job or struggle like the rest of us! This store is a tiny mom and pop and is 5 miles off Rt 13 in the country! Stupid, lazy, no good slack @sses!!!!

Actually he drop kicked the clerk as he jumped over the counter to rob her. She suffered minor injuries was shaken up a bit, but is ok. I am almost certain he was already apprehended.
