Salisbury Police Department Press Releases


On July 23, 2009 at approximately 6:45 pm, Officers of the Salisbury Police arrested the below listed suspect for a burglary to a fenced compound that occurred on June 26, 2009. On that date the suspect broke into the fenced compound of a business on Northwood Drive and took a quantity of copper tubing. The suspect then sold the copper tubing to a local recycling facility.

ARRESTED: David Lee Jones, 42 years of age Salisbury, Maryland

CHARGES:
Fourth degree burglary
Conspiracy to commit burglary
Theft (under $ 500)
Conspiracy to commit theft (under $ 500)

DISPOSITION: Released to Central Booking CC # 200900022351

On July 24, 2009 at approximately 1:30 am, Officers of the Salisbury Police received a call to respond to a residence on the three hundred (300) block of Camden Avenue for the report of a burglary. As officers responded, the officers were given a description of the suspect as seen by witnesses. Officers located the below listed suspect, who matched the description, a short time later and located property taken during the burglary.

ARRESTED: Willis Dewey Hope, 38 years of age Salisbury, Maryland

CHARGES:
First degree burglary
Fourth degree burglary
Theft (under $ 500)

DISPOSITION: Released to central booking CC # 200900025936
