PNC Bank Robbed on Eden Circle

Location of Incident: PNC Bank, 100 Eden Circle, Bear, Delaware, New Castle County

Date and Time of Occurrence: Friday, July 24, 2009, at approximately 5:49 p.m.

Suspect(s): Black male, 30-40 yrs old, approximately 5'09''-5'10'', average build, wearing a yellow colored, short sleeved collared shirt with light colored stripes, dark colored hat, black sunglasses, jeans and dark shoes.

Resume: Detectives from the DSP Robbery Squad are investigating an afternoon bank robbery in Bear.

At approximately 5:49 p.m., a male suspect entered the bank and presented a note to one of the bank tellers. The suspect demanded cash and the teller complied.

The suspect received an undisclosed amount of cash and fled the scene with same.

Fatality on Rt. 50 in the Salisbury area Friday evening.

SFD, WCSO, and MSP on scene at 2136 hours for an MVC involving a pedestrian at Rt. 50 and Queen Avenue. Units on the scene requesting the medical examiner for a Priority 4.

Joe, an update to the post on the Fatality at Rt. 50 and Queen Avenue. SHA notified for a sign board as the road is blocked. MSP also requesting more police units to respond due to numerous family members going to the scene and contaminating the scene. An EMS unit was requested back to the scene due to a family arriving and passing out.
