I'm all for the gov't staying out of healthcare and not mandating health insurance, but this post is very wrong. O new doctors and nurses isn't really an issue since we are already dealing with all the people in this country who need the major medical treatments, those who don't have coverage are sucking it up and waiting for real emergencies and those who have coverage are sometimes more often than not abusing the system, so if everyone is extended and covered we probably wouldn't see a huge increase in treatments overall. The issue is the cost to those who work and already have to tighten their belts and those who can't afford insurance right now may still not be able to afford insurance or the penalties once this is mandated. This is about health insurance mandates and not about actual health care or inability to treat those who need care.
