Salisbury Police Department Press Release


On June 30, 2009 at approximately 10:48 pm, Officers of the Salisbury Police were in the area of Anne St. and Railroad Avenue and observed the below listed suspect with an open container of alcohol. The suspect was stopped and was found to be in possession of suspected crack/cocaine and a smoking device.

ARRESTED: James Ervin Brown, 41 years of age Princess Anne, Maryland

CHARGES: Possession of cocaine
Possession of CDS/paraphernalia
Open container of alcohol

DISPOSITION: Released to Central Booking CC # 200900022886


On June 30, 2009 at approximately 2:10 pm, Officers of the Salisbury Police received a call to respond to a rental residence on Princeton Avenue for the report of a burglary. The residence was unoccupied and cleaning personnel from the rental company entered the residence and found the below listed suspect sleeping in one of the bedrooms. It was found that the suspect had damaged a window screen to make entry into the residence.

ARRESTED: Juvenile, 15 years of age Salisbury, Maryland

CHARGES: Fourth degree burglary
Trespassing

DISPOSITION: Released to Juvenile Justice

On June 30, 2009 at approximately 8:35 pm, Officers of the Salisbury Police received a call to respond to the six hundred (600) block of S. Salisbury Boulevard for the report of an assault. Upon arrival it was found that the below listed suspect had assaulted a victim with a chain when the victim attempted to break up a fight. The victim did not seek medical attention.

ARRESTED: Juan Carlos Gonzalez-Frias, 23 years of age Salisbury, Maryland

CHARGES: Second degree assault
Reckless endangerment

DISPOSITION: Released to Central Booking
