Wicomico County Sheriff's Office Press Release


Incident: Burglary
Date of Incident: 1 July 2009
Location: 600 Block of Taylor Street, Sharptown, MD
Suspect: Herman Francis Dyer, 50, Ocean City, MD

Narrative: On 1 July 2009 at 5:12 PM, deputies from the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office responded to a reported residential burglary in the 600 block of Taylor Street in Sharptown. Upon the arrival of the deputies, they discovered that Herman Dyer had entered the residence without the permission of the homeowner and in violation of a Peace Order that barred Dyer from the residence.

Dyer was placed under arrest and transported to the Central Booking Unit where he was processed and taken in front of the District Court Commissioner. After an initial appearance, Dyer was detained by the Commissioner in the Detention Center in lieu of $7,500.00 bond.


Charges: Burglary 4th degree
Violation of a Peace Order

What gives, It is very apparent that this suspect went to the hospital prior to his booking photo. Did he resist arrest and subsequently have to make a much needed trip to PRMC.

I'm telling you that's what we need, some busted heads. They never got no home training, give them a double dose of what they missed out on.

Definitely looks like he took a trip to PRMC first but you are right. Nothing is mentioned unless he broke into the house looking like that which could be possible.
