SHA Slacking

These photos were taken almost directly across the street from the Salisbury SHA Office on Business Rt. 50. Maybe Gary Comegys was worth a little something while he was there?

Comegys worth something in ANY situation? That's crazy talk, Joe.
It has rained thru the regular cycle of mowing, probably. The SHA people will get caught up whenever it dries up, hopefully.
Without Gary's help.

If this was my year, I'd have a citation from the city already...

They are broke, broke, broke. There is a storm on the horizon and it looks nasty.

They might not have any money, but those "highly needed" sidwalks on Rt 50 look reeeeeally good...any people wonder why the state has no money....

It is a case of "Do as I say, not as I do".

Dam, they must have cut back on the mexicans, that is who was doing all the grass cutting and bush trimmiing in the exact area you took a picture of.
But i still see the good ole boys riding around 4 in a truck with one shovel.
Dam nothing is going to get done without the mexicans ,some of those bubbas need to get off there lazy white asses and grab a mower.

All "Mexicans" aren't illegal. Do you know who built the subway system in NYC? The Irish. Back when I was a kid in NYC there were all kinds of name and attacks on people from other countries. So we have Mexicans out there doing labor YOU won't, just like the Irish, Italians, Polish, you name it years ago. Give it a rest. There's NOTHING you or anyone else can or will do about it anyway. Sometimes I just can't believe you people. This is America and anyone has the right to move here and live here legally. YOU cannot prove they are not legal, so cut the crap.

Their not cutting it out in the country, what makes Smallsbury any better?

Some areas of the city and state roads are contracted out by the City/County/State may not directly be the SHA but maybe the contractors fault for not keeping the pace.I know of one company that is hired out by the State to do state roads from worcester county clear to vienna to do guard rails, medians etc. He uses guys on work release for the most part does a good job.

Right on Joe!My grandfather was a first generation Irishman!
I agree if it was someones yard, they would have already issued multiple citations.

The weather recently has not allowed time for anyone to get there yard and grass done. If you were lucky you might have caught up on Sunday.

It's saving your tax payers dollars isn't it? More power to the state on this one. Don't complain about higher taxes if your also going to complain when the state tries to cut a few costs.
