Salisbury Police Department Press Releases
On June 24, 2009 at approximately 1:39 pm, Officers of the Salisbury Police received a call to respond to a residence on the four hundred (400) block of Poplar St. for the report of a burglary in progress. During the response to the residence, one officer was made aware of a possible suspect several blocks away. The suspect, listed below, was located by the officer and positively identified by the victim of the burglary. Upon meeting with the victim it was learned that the victim had returned to his residence and had found the suspect inside of the residence attempting to take an air conditioner unit. The suspect then fled from the residence and was located by the officer. When arrested, the suspect was found to be in possession of suspected marijuana.
ARRESTED: Gabrielle Jose Tecan Rudriguez, 21 years of age Salisbury, Maryland
CHARGES:
First degree burglary
Third degree burglary
Fourth degree burglary
Malicious destruction of property
Possession of marijuana
DISPOSITION: Released to Central Booking CC # 200900022099
On June 25, 2009 at approximately 8:41 pm, Officers of the Salisbury Police received a call to respond to the Boscovs Department Store at the Centre at Salisbury for the report of a shoplifter. Upon arrival officers met with store security who advised that store employees had observed the below listed suspect take clothing from the store without making any attempt at payment. The clothing was recovered from the suspect and returned to the store.
ARRESTED: Tammy Jo German, 39 years of age Laurel, Delaware
CHARGES: Theft (under $ 500)
DISPOSITION: Released to Central Booking CC # 200900022303
On June 25, 2009 at approximately 9:50 pm, Officers of the Salisbury Police received a call to respond to the area of E. William St. for the report of a group of subjects involved in a domestic argument. Upon arrival the officers observed below listed suspect # 1 shouting at several subjects. Attempts to quiet the suspect failed and suspect # 1 was arrested for disorderly conduct. As the officers took suspect # 1 into custody, suspect # 2 also became disorderly and interfered with the arrest of suspect # 1.
ARRESTED #1: Juvenile, 15 years of age Salisbury, Maryland
CHARGES:
Disorderly conduct
Failure to obey a lawful order
Resisting arrest
DISPOSITION: Released to parent
ARRESTED #2: Monica Lynn Byrd, 39 years of age Salisbury, Maryland
CHARGES: Interfering with an arrest
DISPOSITION: Released to Central Booking CC # 200900022317
On June 25 2009 at approximately 10:15 pm, Officers of the Salisbury Police arrested the below listed suspect on an outstanding warrant charging him with an assault that occurred on April 27, 2009.
On that date the suspect became involved in a domestic type argument with several subjects known to the suspect at a residence on Elizabeth St. During the argument, the suspect threatened the suspects with a machete than fled from the scene

First degree assault
Second degree assault
Reckless endangerment (2 counts)
Possession of a dangerous weapon
