Someone is running vehicle tag numbers and furnishing the information to one of the most vile bloggers in the area. How else would he have gotten the information to post on his blog? Staking out the plaza to see who enters or leaves the building located at 300 W. Main Street is stalking, plain and simple. Running the plates on vehicles parked across the street from the building because they believe this person to be a friend or visitor of Joe Alberos' is stalking. Releasing the personal identification of someone because you believe them to be a friend or visitor of Joe Alberos' is STALKING.
Is Chief Webster now the flunkie of this vile blogger? Would Chief Webster abuse the power of his office? It has been said on that same blog, the vile blogger has sources in SPD. So, did someone in SPD run these tags and provide the information to the vile blogger? This is not information you can gain by a simple google search or an MVA search. This information had to be obtained by a police agency.
Does the person, named by the vile blogger, as being owner of the vehicle, parked in front of Parker Place, have grounds for a lawsuit? I would think so but, I'm not a lawyer, I don't even have a certificate on the wall.
It is highly doubtful, anyone at WCSO or MSP would jeopardize their position, to aid the vile blogger in his vendetta against Joe. It is highly doubtful, any of the line officers at SPD would jeopardize their position either. Especially after Chief Webster fired Dan Dougherty's step son from his dispatcher job after the photo of the murdered prostitute was released. Everyone over at SPD and every other police agency knows Webster is gunning for Albero and will stop at nothing to set him up.
So, the question of the day is WHO BREACHED NCIC PROTOCOL AND PROCEDURE?
Will this be investigated? Will someone lose their job? If I were investigating, I'd start at the top and work my way down.
If the Chief of Police weren't so busy trying to bust Albero maybe he could solve some of these crimes that have been let go cold.

Oh what a big mistake on someone's part. An Officer and/or dispatcher of some department had to be the one to get the information and that is just plain illegal and they should lose their job.

3:17 is totally correct. Any info requested through the state on any computer terminal has a corresponding PID or ORI (depending on type of terminal) associated with it. The servers have a log of who was at the machine when this request was made. Also, every LEO has an ORI associated with him/her that is attached to every request. If you bring this problem up to the MSP they should investigate it. You may not get a name, but they will know it.

NCIC enquiries are easy to track, file a complaint and they can find out who ran the tag number. that simple. Remember you can go to the MVA and pay for someones record if you have not privitized your tag.

-ANYBODY, and I mean ANYBODY, can get your information from a tag number. You can go into the local MVA and request it. This information is NOT confidential.
-You can pay to get this information from the ease of your computer chair, usually for about $30.
-This is not stalking
-And if you're truly "JT Free" then why have you commented or referenced his posts at least 3 times in the past 2 weeks?

Unfortunately I have to agree with Dante on this. I actually went out on Google, paid 29.99 to look up my own tag number and it came back with my full name, address, vin #, age weight hair and eye color. It's kind of scary I thought it was going to spit out my shoe size too!

I'm on my way to MVA tomorrow to see about making my info private, if that can be done.

Dante - That law has been changed for a few years. You may no longer go to MVA in MD with a tag number and pay for the info. There is also a way to opt out of it being accesible in other venues.
Either way,legal or not,it is creepy to have someone run your tag number like that.

He's in deep sh!t as an investigation is being started and he knows he's going to have to reveal sources or perhaps go to Jail. I mean, what's the difference any way. Sadly,they probably will do nothing.If all the goldbricks on SSI are exposed and cut off,alot of federal employees would be out of work.Think about it!He obviously has no shame,like so many others getting something for nothing.
