BANGKOK - Actor David Carradine, star of the 1970s TV series "Kung Fu" who also had a wide-ranging career in the movies, has been found dead in the Thai capital, Bangkok. A news report said he was found hanged in his hotel room and was believed to have committed suicide.
A spokesman for the U.S. Embassy, Michael Turner, confirmed the death of the 72-year-old actor. He said the embassy was informed by Thai authorities that Carradine died either late Wednesday or early Thursday, but he could not provide further details out of consideration for his family.
The Web site of the Thai newspaper The Nation cited unidentified police sources as saying Carradine was found Thursday hanged in his luxury hotel room.
It said Carradine was in Bangkok to shoot a movie and had been staying at the hotel since Tuesday.

I always felt that he was thinking to much, that can be dangerous.

His manager says he died of "natural causes" - but every other news source says he hung himself. He was always a very strange, seemingly tortured, man.
If he was truly hung, I don't believe he did it. It wouldn't fit his personality, his spiritual bent, the re-newed professional success he was experiencing, he was currently on the set filming a new movie. The only way I would believe he committed suicide was if he'd been diagnosed with a horrible terminal illness and decided to end his life before it got too bad, but even then, I don't know about him hanging himself. Something just doesn't seem right.

There's the version saying he hung himself, found nude in a closet...
The version that says natural causes...
and the version that says the rope was around more than just his neck.
David Carradine just did not strike me as the suicidal type.
In any case, he was a talent and may he rest in peace.

He was found SITTING DOWN IN A CHAIR, with the cord around his neck. This is not suicide, people... this is a sexual act gone wrong.
Yep they said on the news this morning that the rope was around his neck, and his genitals. Gross way to die.
