City Council Health Insurance Discussion of May 19

Do you want to hear the council discussion regarding health insurance? Last week the audio file was posted on the right side of this blog but no mention of it being there was made in a post.

You will hear Terry state repeatedly the council should discuss policy and vote on it. Unfortunately, it fell on deaf ears instead, the taxpayers are paying another unnecessary legal bill.

For your convenience the link is here: Council Health Ins.mp3

Oh, now Louise wants to play nice. It's not working for you Weezie we know your true colors. That Gary needs to be slapped. He's tired of hearing about the double digit tax hike he voted for because he knows it was all a sham and the police never got their raises as promised to them and the taxpayers. He should get used to hearing it because it is going to follow him the rest of his political career...which ends in 2 years.

Amen to the above comment and this post. I listened just enough to this audio and I'm fuming!

Congrats to the two intelligent ladies of the council. Too bad Terry Cohen doesn't have that certificate on the wall. She doesn't go after Paul Wilber. She just shows him for incompetent he is by doing her own job well.

Wilbur should be ashamed to call himself a lawyer. In legal decisions without legal representation it's Salisbury citizens, 3 wins, no loses. Wilbur is 3 loses with no wins. It's time we hire a competent city attorney.

Wibur has cost the Salisbury taxpayers a ton of money for his poor decisions.

Grandstanding by Smith, At eh other work session she said the=at this was becasue everyone had to sacrifice. Smith, AComegys and TIlghman had been planning this for about a year. Listen to them. Denial of Wilber's memo, the finance person already knowing precisely what Shields' insurance terms were, and the most obvious part: Tilghman purposely leaving it out of the budget when she and WIlber both should have known it was illegal to do so.
