The bumper sticker should say "I'm a Republican,and people in my party receive far more welfare than anyone else."

That is just a fact.

Anon 9:02; A fact according to whom. Just think how ridiculous that statement sounds. Think of who elected Obama.

hey 9:02-I'd like to see the facts you base this opinion on please....... if that was the case, republicans would never be out of office

Ever heard of Corporate Welfare? Ask Big Oil, Wall Street, Pharmaceuticals, Haliburton, Blackwater, etc., etc. All REpublican sponsors. Get informed.

It's just a bumper sticker, people. A stupid one, mind you, but just a bumper sticker.

9:02 is correct if you consider federal expenditures to red states vs. blue states. Blue states pay the bills, and red states take the money. That's a well known fact. So, I laugh every time I see a redneck demand a tax reduction... Yea. Let's cut what I earn that they're sending to you.

But, it's not welfare unless you consider corporate pork to be welfare. Corporate pork dwarfs personal welfare, and most of the corporate bosses who benefit, are indeed Republicans.

If republicans are not on welfare , Why are they receiving billions of dollars from our Government?

Republicans = selfish

These posts are more proof that Obama has done NOTHING to lessen the bridge and encourage bipartisanship. And them dems say republicans are nasty? Listen to yourselves.

What a lovely thought from a non-thinking person.

That looks like proof to me that this man in the truck has been bailed out by the gov.
Say no more.

Unless you are a principled anarchist your "party" is probably on welfare. The modern Republican party certainly believes in massive welfare. Even if you "work" your employer may be a recipient of welfare and your "job" is probably part of a job creation program funded by confiscation and redistribution. There are millions of exceptions, of course. But the line is certainly blurred. Republicans are generally welfare statists just like Democrats. They just have different pet projects they want to fund.
