Salisbury Police Department Press Releases


On April 13, 2009 at approximately 9:42 am, Officers of the Salisbury Police Department arrested the below listed suspect on three (3) outstanding Arrest Warrants. The first warrant charges the suspect with theft from a victim at a local rehabilitation facility. The suspect was found to have taken U.S. Currency and a credit card from a patient at a rehabilitation facility, then utilized the credit card at various location throughout Salisbury. The second and third arrest warrants charge the suspect with forging and fraudulently passing prescriptions for oxycodone in both Salisbury and Crisfield.

ARRESTED: Shawntel Denise Baine, 35 years of age Salisbury, Maryland

Theft
Fraudulent use of a credit card (9 counts)
Attempted use of a credit card (2 counts)

Second Warrant:
Prescription fraud (5 counts)

Third Warrant:
Prescription fraud (3 counts)
Forgery (2 counts)

On April 14, 2009 at approximately 8:55 pm, Officers of the Salisbury Police arrested the below listed suspect on an outstanding arrest warrant charging the suspect with burglary. It was reported to the Salisbury Police in January 2009 that a residence on Monticello Avenue had been broken into and burglarized. The investigation resulted in the warrant for the suspect, charging the suspect with the burglary. The suspect was known to the victim.

ARRESTED: Richard Ray Culp, III, 31 years of age Mardela Springs, Maryland

CHARGES:
First degree burglary
Fourth degree burglary (2 counts)
Theft (under $ 500) (3 counts)
Theft (over $ 500) (2 counts)
Malicious destruction of property
