You go Ted I agree with you whole-heartedly. What these stupid politicians can't get through their thick skulls is everywhere that people are allowed to carry guns the crime rate goes down about 50 percent. Let's face it, if you make your living mugging the average Joe on the street. You would think twice about it if you thought he was going to pull out a gun and blow your ass away. That is just common sense. And it is also a god given right given to us by the SECOND AMENDMENT of the constitution. So if you gun-grabbing liberals can't understand that. I hope you are their next victim and see how you like it.

What a loser! Gun ownership isn't about crime. It isn't about freedom. It's for scared people who usually end up killing family and friends. Don't forget that 90% of all gun deaths are in fact family and friends.

It's very simple. Suicide account for about 50% of gun deaths. The most common murder in America is spousal murder, and that accounts for about 20% of remaining gun deaths (the old redneck divorce). Add in those that are not yet married and you get a few more percent (You do know, the #1 risk factor for maternal death in the US is being shot by your redneck boyfriend). Now start adding in fratricide, matricide, patricide,... Then add in the accidents, like the poor toddler from Indiana above. Finally, add in the killing of friends and neighbors.
Add up all those... and guess what? you REALLY do get that 90% of all gun deaths are family and friends. It's a major health hazard!
Sadly this girl perished because an IDIOT did not properly secure a loaded gun and keep it away from children.....Lets put the blame where the blame lies and stop letting "pinkos" tell people guns are all bad.
If I told you there was a substance that kills more people yearly than guns do and that sales of this substance are not restricted by the government, you would probably say "what is it,and can we ban it"? Well its natural gas and millions of homes and businesses across the country have this odorless but potentially lethal stuff pumped into tanks in their homes by the gallons.It kills and causes untold property damage but you dont think its going to be outlawed,do you?
