Good move. I wouldn't want to be tied into a contract with any of our big 3 right now.

Actually this is incorrect. They have been in the process for quite a while to have the franchise removed due to the overhead caused by it.

Either way they no longer have it, however, giving it up is much better than having it taken from you.

Sad to hear. I bought my vehicle from them and was very satisfied. I always received excellent service too.

The Preston folks have done a lot for the various communities where they have dealerships. They sponsor a lot of events and sports teams. The employees volunteer for lots of activites too.

Several of our area dealer/owners have been very good corporate and community citizens. We should wish them well as they work through the problems in the auto industry.

There is one answer to this.
Create jobs,people buy cars.
you have to add this to your list of closings on delmarva.
I know someone will call me a dum a-- or something stupid, because 3:51 said they where trying to get rid of it for sometime.
There may be overhead in it now but at one time it must have been very profitable.
Jobs is what delmarva needs, and no one is doing anything to help this matter, not that i am aware of anyway.
And thanks to the state of maryland my job just got more costly first of may.
It will cost $15 to cost the bay bridge, seven times that is $35 more each week . No new car.
Yes 7 times the increase i can count.
