This gang of kids, photographed in 1930 by Sklar Photographic Studio, Salisbury, at Kamp Kill Kare, most likely a summer camp in or just outside of Salisbury. All the boys seem to be between the ages of eleven and fourteen, putting them at least into their late eighties today.
A framed photo destined for the trash heap, but rescued by a local history buff.

Anyone recognize any of them?

It looks like they are a baseball team, possibly sandlot.
Sixty nine years ago was 1940.
Kamp Kill Kare was a summer camp for boys that was located on the shores of Lake Champlain in St. Albans Bay, Vermont. The camp operated for 61 years, from 1906 to 1966. The camp's grounds are now a state park.
Notice the build on these boys, 11 to 14 years old. Where are the fat kids? Take a picture like that today it will be totally different. We are killing our kids.
Want that greasy meal super sized?
Does anyone know how long Sklar Studios was in business?
