Thanks for posting this. We had never been to Alanbank before. We just got back from there with 4 flats of beautiful flowers. I wish now we would have waited to plant the garden, their veggies looked great, so great we considered pulling up what we have planted and buying new ones. It seemed a little far out of the way but the drive was beautiful. Its nice just to drive around to places you have never been before.

Just got back from out there as well. The kids had a good time looking at all of the plants and seeing the animals- They even sheared a sheep while we were there. (It was kinda warm out there. he looked much happier after they did!) Went looking for garden vegetables, but the lady running things said they would have tons of tomatoes and peppers ready in two weeks. So we bought some flowers and herbs. we'll be back down there to get those veggie plants, to be sure! They had Hot Dogs for sale, and there was a mobile pizza kitchen out there selling their stuff. The wife said the pizza was delicious! We made sure to tell the proprietor that we heard about it on SBY News! Thanks For posting this.
