Particulars about the Meeting on Wednesday the 18th. It is at 6pm downtown Salisbury in front of the IRS office at the picnic tables. The topics we will be discussing are:

We are looking for individuals, families, business owners and responsible Americans who are ready to act and bring about real, positive tax reforms for themselves, their families and for generations to come. Messages have been left for Bob Caldwell, Rick Pollit and Michael Steele to possibly attend and speak at the event.
We have gotten a huge number of responses in the last 48 hours, largely due to Joe’s blog. We are asking those serious about attending and helping out to join us at this meeting. We do understand many more will become involved as time goes on, but we want this to be well organized and meaningful event. We want our Federal, State and local politicians to listen to us. No more politics as usual. No more slogans, rhetoric, and double speak that results in nothing being done in the favor of the people of this country, or for our future.

Allritht, looks like this is really going to happen. Maybe this is the year Salisbury begins to turn around, and all governemnt officials begin listening to the people again.
Better keep an eye out for those who are going to try and stop this. Some Salisbury officials do not want people coming together, especially the hard working ones that keep Salisbury going as they do the rest of the country. There is an ll out war against producers, prosperity and those who pay all their bills and ar responsible.
What did the Federalist pages say about the people of this country maybe someday having to take part in a revolution against its own government to take it back.

Just took a look at the facebook page. There are some good videos there and a pretty strong post by someone. Those videos and that post has encouraged me. These people seem ready to grow and serious about this movement.

Wow, what world do you live in? This is why hard working Americans ned to band together, make a statement. We need to take our country back not only from our government, but from the all the people in the cart abusing and slamming the ones pulling it. They are out of touch with the working stiffs who actually pay taxes while they fly around in jets, eating $100/lb kobe steaks and tell us how we should live. Bush may have not been a great President, but the economy didn't tank in the last 8 years, it tanked in the last 2 years when Obama got elected to the Senate and Pelosi became in charge of the House. Sit on that and stew....
People are alsep! I think this governemtn does want Socialism and has almsot completed it. They want control over everything we do and accomplish a lot of that by taxes all the kinds of things we do, like smoke, drink, drive and the such. Congress does want to control us, and there are only a few things we can do to get control back. Who out there is willing to do this? The Tea Party is one meaningful step, but a baby one at that!
Let the states run the states again. Easier to keep an eye on them that way.
I agree with ya Joe, congress has been out'a control for many many years now {even before Bush} ALL gov. entities spend wildly, at the ends of the physical year they spend everything...needed or not. They have a plan, thats why they have done so much damage in this short amount of time. We have all been complacent in our time, we have alot to do. One of the concerns is will the military and law officers stand with their families, friends and neighbors....or will they become the RED army?

Lets pull together. Lets see how big we can get this Tea party and then go from there. Intelligent,working Americans who understand what is happening must stand up. The young people need to understand this is going to affect their lives more than us older people. I have to do somethign for my kids, otherwise I would be a failure as a father, and maybe as a human, but of course if I do nothing, I will have failed as an American!!

The money that has been passed to spend in the "Spendulus" bill is beginning to be spent, that is for sure. It is budgeted for a 3-4 year period. There is more coming down the pike; that is planned. All this is true.
The fact that we all have to keep in mind, though, is that all this can be voted out as quickly as it was voted in. All we have to do is keep our congressmen abreast of our feelings on the matter.
I am a builder, and all of a sudden, there are blueprints on the table to bid on, where there were none there before. This will put people back to work, and reinstall confidence in the industries. As time goes by, though, we must remain vigilant and try to work lean, and as soon as we get going again, we need to minimize the spending and restudy the package. We have time now to read what was passed, and can vote to reduce this crap before it's all spent.
the purpose of the bill was to reinstall confidence, and it's starting to work, but take this time to read the package and discuss it among yourselves. WE run this country, and WE can vote to control this package, now that we have time.
Go to the Tea Party and shake hands with your fellows in this county and agree that WE can band together to make a difference in the country.
Lets all go to the Tea party, lets make intelligent signs, make a positive protest and get real Americans together.......lets make a statement, lets create news, make the tv statons come out and cover us...lets make our voices heard!!!
