Chief See Is Simply Full Of Crap!

In an article dated July 17th, 2008 I confronted Chief See about letting a fully loaded Fire Chase Vehicle get away from them with everything still on it and in it. Chief see said the following when I confronted him about it.

See responded with, "We all can't be perfect like you Joe." He then went on to say, "We're human Joe, so we let one slip away from us."

Well Chiefy, I guess you just let another "one slip away from you" AGAIN, eh? This time it cost the taxpayers some $40,000.00 worth of equipment alone, let alone the give away of a worthy Ladder Fire Truck.

Here's what I find most interesting about that fool. A year before, (perhaps longer) they had a Fire Truck sitting around, (still is) with a blown engine. I said to old Chiefy, I'll give you $2,500.00 cash for it right now at a PAC14 Meeting. He said, no way, I want $5,000.00 for that Truck, Joe.

Well I'll be a SOB! To think for $5,000.00 I could have had a LADDER TRUCK instead that actually works! Heck, I don't need any brakes on that thing, I want it as a toy for my Grandson. Then, they would throw in $40,000.00 worth of additional tools? Man, you really know how to LET those things just "SLIP AWAY" from you, don't you Chiefy?

YOU, the Taxpayers have been scammed by a scam artist. Comegys, you're a fool as well. Wilber, you're about the dumbest attorney I have ever seen. The City didn't have to sell that thing and you know it. Let them sue you for $5,000.00. Then sell off the equipment alone and I'll pay $2,500.00 for the Ladder Truck and park it in the woods and let my Grandson have a field day on it. There, case closed, money made by the City. Pittsville will get over it.

I still want to know how much they're allegedly getting from that Dealer for the Truck with the blown engine. It may have been 2 years ago when I offered $2,500.00 CASH for it.

How many of you still support the Salisbury Fire Department now? Are you aware they ordered TWO MORE LADDER TRUCKS, besides the one they already have and two other Fire Trucks. One Ladder Truck will go to Station 1 and the other to Station 2.

They are boning the Volunteers like there's no tomorrow and County Executive Rick Pollitt needs to put a stop to this as in yesterday. I have a friend who lives on the West side of Salisbury and Hebron actually comes to their rescue, not Salisbury Station 16, even though they built that new Fire Palace on the West side of Town.

I sure do hope Help Is On The Way because Gary Comegys is a joke.

I hope that readers will continue to separate the fire service personnel from See, Gordy, Hoppes, the Mayor, Comegys, Smith and Shields. that is who is spending $10 million on a building, and giving $40,000 in perfectly good tools away and buying new ones. There is an election right around the corner. Whether you live in Salisbury or in Wicomico you should be busy making sure that Comegys is your not your next mayor and getting Campbell reelected.

FYI Joe, the fire districts and mutual aid agreements throughout the County (more particularly those involving Station 16) did not change AT ALL when they relocated Station 16. Now tell me this, how can you move a Station and keep the same logistics? This tells me (and others) one of two things...either the districts were inaccurately delineated before the move and the new location improved logistics (Doubtful) OR the move hindered logistics and they just didn't care to re-evaluate them...

They moved the station over 3/4 of a mile away, over one/two water bodies (north and/or south prong depending on which way you run it) and across a highway from its original location. Wouldn't you think that something would change? ABSOLUTELY!! They are not concerned about effectively and efficiently serving this City/County, they are concerned about "Looking Good" and having "New Toys".

Ask Chief See if they would consider re-evaluating their district to better suit and serve the people. Or even better (I won't just single out See here), ask ANY fire chief from ANY department if they would be willing to re-evaluate their territories... Every single one of them would say 'NO' without hesitation. Why you ask? They are too proud and are by no means willing to give up territory-even if it better serves the citizens!

If you're going to spend our money at least improve the service! Chew on that for a while-spit it out or swallow.

For instance, the intersection of Poplar St. and E Vine St. is a Straight shot from Station 2 down S. Schumaker Drive, but is still in Station 16's territory. In addition, it is also nearly TWICE as far away from Station 16 than it is from Station 2. It takes one turn to get there from Station 2 and 4 turns to get there from Station 16. That travel distance and time makes a big difference to a victim that can't breathe or stuck in a house engulfed in flames...

People, I recommend you find out what fire district you are in and do the math and common sense logistics to see if you are properly served.

Joe, I'm going to email you about this later this evening.

Hey Joe, contact Pittsville and see if they will GIVE you their surplus ladder truck they will soon have. They practically had one given to them so maybe they'll give one to you! LMAO

You asked a good question. I am not proud of the SFD any longer./ I have seen enough on this blog over the years to know they can no longer be trusted. I understand the volunteers don't have much say any more but I've had enough of this crap. Clean house or they'll not see another donation from me.

See pulled this crap years ago in Delmar and was thrown out for it. He told everyone they were getting special tanker trucks and lied to everyone. I can't believe they let him back in.

The crimes are committed by criminals. Let's get real here. Who are the people involved in fixing the price and transferring wealth from one city to another town? Why was it done? qui bono

Follow the money.

Thank you, no I'm not bashing firefighters, it's the chief and wanna-be chief's doing all this reckless spending.

Maybe if the roads were in better condition the equiptment would last longer, damn roads are like a motor cross race course.

Flipping the property the Station 16 sits on was the biggest scam, the pork began there!
