BRIEF RESUME:

On March 9, 2009 at 10:48 PM, Brenette Rich of Selbyville, De, was traveling westbound on E. Line Road in a 1997 Pontiac Sunfire. Her vehicle failed to stay right of center, crossed the center line and struck a utility pole off road on the eastbound side. Rich reported she fell asleep. She was transported to Peninsula Regional Medical Center for non life threatening injuries. The vehicle was also occupied by two passengers. A 12 year old male was treated and released for a minor leg injury. All occupants were wearing their seat belts. Neither alcohol nor speed was a factor.

The operator was charged with failing to drive right of center.

Also last night (around 8pm) on Muskrattown Rd. in Bishopville, MD a woman came home to find a man in her home. He ran out the back door. I'm not sure if he took anything or even if that was the reason he broke into the house. I'm also not sure if they caught him. I heard all this on the scanner.
