I went bear hunting in Manitoba ten years ago and they bait the bear in. They have 55 gallon drum barrells with holes cut in the top. The barrells are filled with pop-corn and old commercial cooking oil. The bears actually sit there and reach in the barrells and eat the pop-corn, the holes used to be bigger but the bears kept getting their heads caught in them. They would stumble around the woods with a damn barrell stuck on their heads. When a bear is harvested,(and I use that term litely) The hide is taken off for a rug and the bear is dragged by a quad down to the dump area where it would get eaten by ravens and wolves. After I got back home I realized that this isnt hunting, this is sick and I was ashamed that I had been a part of it. Just a little piece of my life.
