I have received an email from Mr. Boda, explaining that he will be attending the viewing of a very recently deceased close friend on Thursday evening. He sends regrets that he will, for that reason, not be able to attend the Camden Neighborhood Association's Mayoral and Council Candidate Forum. Our condolences are extended.
We will continue with our plans to host the forum.
The candidates scheduled to attend are: Debbie Campbell, Cynthia Polk, Jim Ireton. Mrs. Shields has yet to send a reply to the invitation.

It sounds like, as harsh as this sounds, Mr. Boda's priority is to attend a viewing, (which could be an in- speak to family- make apologies- leave)rather than face a possibly unfriendly crowd at the forum. Whatever.
What was Gary's excuse for not attending?
Comegys will be attending an NAACP gang control forum to be held at the Chipman Center.
I'm betting Shields won't show up either. This will speak volumes to the Camden area voters and many others. It gives the appearance they are all running, ducking and hiding from the truth.

Why is he going to a crime forum now? Just last budget season he didn't think crime was a problem in Salisbury. NOW, during an election he sees it as a problem? Forget it Gary, showing up at an NAACP forum won't get you votes.

WAIT! It IS with the Camden area people, and he's blowing it off.
Say no more, he's a creep. I only hope that the general population, i.e. the voters of the 'bury, know enough not to vote for him just because they recognize the name and assume he's the logical choice. What a huge, HUGE mistake that would be.

Cynthia is going to the Chipman Center too and she's making both. Oh yeah I forget Bubba can't handle that work load. Oh well let's have a pre celebration celebration while we're there, our own meet and greet! : )
I see fewer and fewer comegys signs around, I think people have begun to wise up even before the WWTP thing
Almost ALL of the Comegys signs are on rental or business properties like many of the apartment complexes and gas stations, hardly ANY residents. There were Ireton signs on a home on College AVe across from the tennis courts but they are now gone, anyone seen a Volvo sedan there?
