One Post Brings In 331 Comments On Salisbury News
We are often asked what Post brought in the most comments and the answer is, "Officers At WCDC Being Ripped Off." There are 331 comments on that Post and still climbing every day. Clearly there are some serious issues at the WCDC and many people working there are begging County Executive Rick Pollitt to step in and help their cause and concerns. See, many of you thought it would be a Firefighter Post.

Have you ever thought about putting a link to this on the right where the other links are. Most of us dont go back that far to keep reading and posting but if there was a link we could keep track of it easier since this topic is being used daily
Wow!!! I worked at WCDC through the 90's. By reading these comments, I am glad I was "paroled" when I was. I recognize some of the names mentioned (Roberts, Moore, Elliott, Foreman, Kelley, Rowley, Dickerson X 2, Jamison, Ringgold). I read on one post that there has been an improvement since the days of Warden Welch, but I dont remember any such discord back in those days. There was OT issues even back then, but no such back-stabbing as this. It is such a shame that so many great officers have been lost to other jobs and the ones still there are so unhappy. Im glad I got out when I did!!!
So....why doesn't Rick Pollitt step in and do something about what's going on there???

Somebody has to do it, we can't sit around and pretend everything is ok, when it is NOT........
Our Politicians , Voted in by US,
should be working for US, and be
held ACCOUNTABLE. We all KNOW,

Honchos, by now , have to know about WCDC, so, WHY is NOTHING being DONE ???? Maybe other Avenues will have to be addressed

Also we hear Sgt Armstrong, Lt Deal, are married to Inmates, Offc
Ayres goes with one, had his baby,
This speaks for the type of officers, WCDC lets work here,
THEIR ACTIONS SPEAK FOR THEMSELVES , The county should get
Rid of All of them.
So much for, the Caliber, of Officer , allowed to remain working here. Not to mention,
the ones who have DUI's who are Still working here, as if, nothing
ever happened. Looks like, the
criminals are in charge of the criminals, with criminals on Both
