"I am so glad I don't live in Salisbury. The place is going downhill fast.
I remember when Barrie Tilghman first ran for Mayor. In her caampaign ad, she said, "I'm running for mayor because..." with the emphasis on the word "I'm." I remember thinking then that the comment made the statement that her campaign was all about HER, not Salisbury. It seems I've been proven right. In fact, I spoke with an older woman just yesterday who moved to Salisbury for her retirement. She told me she wished she hadn't and is very disappointed with Salisbury and its decline.
And I am grateful that if I need help, I would deal with the County Sheriff and not Chief Webster. His anger at Joe for telling us all about the ATM robbery at Bank of America makes no sense to me. Isn't he supposed to protect the people of Salisbury? How can he do that when he doesn't even think it's necessary to warn the public about killers and robbers? It does seem that he is using the public as his decoys, and that makes him a very dangerous man, not one who should be entrusted with public safety.
Cyber-terrorist?!!! Are you kidding me? Mr. Webster, why don't you go after the criminals and not the man warning us to be careful about things you don't want us to know. I may not live in Salisbury, but I work there every day, and every day, with you at the helm, I feel less and less safe."
They added on another comment about the SPD Press Release just Posted:
"...and still, not a word about the ATM robbery at BOA." That would be, Bank of America.

The kind of censorship that Chief Webster is trying to do will only doom his administration in the end.
Hitler, Stalin, Trotsky, Mussilini, and Hussein, all tried similar tactics and look what happened to them.
It is important for our citizenry to be adequately informed even if it means 'bursting the police authority's ego bubble'.

I remember when this women ran for mayor also. She came to a volunteer fire company meeting to ask for support. She said she loved the SFD... BULL S.... She destroyed the rich tradition of the fire department.Her damage is there and cannot be reversed. Barrie take Gary with you when you leave. Gary go play with See & Gordy. 2009 will be a good year for Salisbury.

8:15pm New Years Eve. Berlin Fire Department being dispatched for an MVC . Worcester Central advises it is a result of a high speed chase with 2 ejections and 2 in custody.
Command on scene requesting a helicopter and an RSI unit out of Ocean City, but Ocean City isn't familiar with an RSI unit.
Joe, I posted a comment earlier about the MVC involving a high speed chase with 2 patients ejected at 8:15 PM. One of those patients just arrived at PRMC at 9:23 PM after being transported by the Trooper 4 the MSP helicopter.
WTF is wrong with those hill billy volunteer farmin for calling a helicopter and taking approximately 1 hour and 10 minutes for the patient to arrive at PRMC. I can drive the speed limit from Berlin to PRMC in 25 minutes or less. I also heard Ocean Pines and one of Berlin's ambulances get to PRMC about 20 minutes before the Helicopter arrived. What a waste of valuable resources and valuable time for saving someones life. As windy as it is I am surprised the Helicopter would even fly when they weren't needed. What if this helicopter crashed and we lost 4 more lives like we did with the crash in September. Allowing the volunteer farmin to make these life threatening decisions is criminal and someone should be held responsible.

Did any of you people, INCLUDING the geniuses on the 3rd floor at the SPD actually read the original post? If you had read and were able to comprehend what you read, you would know that Joe posted an email sent to him by a relative of the victim. Joe didn't hear this on a scanner or hear it from some rogue cop that would dare to speak with him. It came from the family of the victim.
