North Prong Business Vandalized

While the business owners along the North Prong were at the GOB expressing their concerns over the proposed revitalization of the North Prong, Salisbury Monument was vandalized. The owners, S.J. and Scott Disharoon arrived at work Tuesday morning to find the granite head stones on their property had been vandalized. It is not known at this time if other business owners on the North Prong were also affected. Coincidence? You decide.

JOE, You think that was the result of the owner telling Comegys and the mayor to stuff it Monday evening meeting.

All the mayor told him was existing businesses were welcome to remain and no one was going to be moved via emminent domain...Why was he against the plan again?

There is no way that this is a coincidence. Crime is all over the place, and not an infrequent event.

To the person that asks why I am against the plan here are the reasons why. I am tired of the city wasting money on projects, when they can't even take care of what they have. I do not believe what the mayor says about anything. It said in the study that Salisbury Monument was moved once and it could be moved again. The city should be worried about bringing in business and not trying to move us out.If everyone would read the study it will be very clear to everyone that this is the last thing that the this city needs to worry about right now.

I hear you Mr. Disharoon, thank you for having the Gonads to speak up.

Now we as citizens need to get DingleBarrie and Bubba out of office SOON!

Hang in there my friend.

4:11 I agree with you. I don't think it had anything to do with the meeting. I think it had everything to do with destructive people with nothing better to do. The timing of the vandals was not the greatest.

I do agree with the Disharoons and all the other business owners on the North Prong and the others that spoke up against this plan. This plan is not good for anyone other than developers.

Sounds like the Goon Squad. Prove that it is good for developers, why aren't the condo's on the river selling? Because there are so many home for sale by people wanting to move out of Salisbury, you can find a better deal.

OK, it's not good for developers that are salivating to get their hands on that property for future development. This deal will help no one other than those developers and believe it when I tell you Barrie Tilghman will benefit in one way or the others. This plan is not about the existing businesses, it is about Barrie Tilghman and the Greater Salisbury Committee.
