Democrats Are Such Idiots, They'll Even Fall For This Crap!

Friend --

Our friends at the Democratic National Committee laid it all on the line to bring change this year.

We've been reviewing the books, and the DNC went into considerable debt to secure victory for Barack and Joe. It took unprecedented resources to staff up all 50 states, train field organizers, and build the technology to reach as many swing voters as possible.

It worked.

But it also left the DNC in debt. So before we do anything else, we need to help pay for this winning strategy.

Make a donation of $30 or more now and you'll get a limited edition 2008 Victory T-shirt.

The DNC's 50-state field strategy was crucial to our campaign's success, as well as victories for Democrats up and down the ballot. Their organizing infrastructure allowed us to compete -- and win -- in states that seemed insurmountable just four years ago.

They took out substantial loans to make it happen. The DNC didn't hold back, and now, neither can we.

You were there for this campaign when we needed to reach out to more voters and compete in more states. Now we're relying on grassroots supporters like you to come through for this movement once again.

We'll get to work transforming this country. But first, we need to take care of the DNC.

Please make a donation of $30 or more today and receive your Obama Victory T-shirt:

Thank you for everything,

David

Dear DNC, While I feel your pain of being in debt we, the taxpayers of this great nation have already donated to the Democratic proposed bailout of Wall St. Since bailing Wall St out to the tune of $700 billion dollars we've contributed more to their coffers and await the plan from the Democrat controlled House to bail out the auto industry. Might I suggest you ask those you borrowed from to refinance your loans or better yet, go ask Jesse Jackson or Oprah Winfrey to make large donations? The strain the Democrats have put on the little guys is overwhelming. Wait a few short months until Obama begins redistributing the wealth it might be possible at that time to come begging for yet another donation. You can find us in the soup lines.

Signed Broke Ass Liberal.

Okay i used to really enjoy reading this blog but I honestly don't think I can even stand to come on here anymore. You are completely arrogant and have no idea the points of what you're attempting to argue against the democrats..you just believe the bull shit they sell on tv and the media. Maybe Obama isnt the best presidential candidate ever, but come on..McCain..Palin?! Are you kidding me? The fact of the matter is the election is OVER. That's right. Obama won. Democrats won. And the republicans that finally got their heads out of the holes to sway their votes to Obama won as well. As if the country isn't already in an economic crisis? As if the oh so wonderful Republican leader Bush didn't lead us into the spiraling downfall of the economy in the country. Way to go Republicans! And you could honestly say that McCain wouldn't be Bush x 2..or that crazy hockey mom!

You're right, both Candidates sucked. Of course it's your right to come and go here but come on, the election put them in debt, now fork up some more money for the cause? They delivered you crap too and they want more money? I can't please everyone with this Blog, don't even try. I simply tell it like it is and if that makes you uncomfortable, I'm sure there's another Blog or even the Daily Times you can go to. They'll tell you exactly what you want to hear. Thanks for visiting and we hope you stick around.

Not so much for the Daily Times..all of this town is the same. McCain poster after McCain poster in the yards. It seems as though you're the one following what the media wants you to know as well as the ignorant crowd.

Joe,

You can't please everyone with your blog, you are correct. But one can't help but get the impression that you're being disingenuous about some stuff. You claim that most of your friends are Democrats.
You say "hey, they're good people", then, in the very next (sometimes very same) post accuse us Dems of being vandals, cheats, desperate, idiots, "sucka's", sheep, and in one choice post, you even said this county was worse off for having us living in it.

And you get your feelings hurt when the Democratic Club doesn't invite you to their functions?

First of all, I'm married to a Democrat. Secondly, the same democratic friends that I do have ragged on me for the past year and a half. Why don't you think about this. Are you suggesting that democrats never ragged on any republican during the entire presidential campaign? Come on, get a grip. You have ragged on us just as much as we did on you, all in fun.

Take Councilwoman Terry Cohen for instance. Quite frankly, during the presidential race, most wanted nothing to do with her because of her being so over the top as a liberal democrat. Some even said she's two steps from being a comunist, she's that bad. There wasn't a single conversation that went on referencing the candidates where she didn't literally go nuts over Palin and how Cohen would have made a far better Vice President than Palin.

So we all take crap from one and other and in the end still stay friends. Learn to agree to disagree. At least you can say your peace here.

That's just it Joe. Yes, agree to disagree-- but the tone of your posts isn't just friendly disagreement of the sort that makes me think, "Ah, he's just joshin'. He doesn't ACTUALLY think all democrats are vandals, law-breaking scumbags and liars. He's just saying that in good fun".

Come one man, really? I just don't believe you.

And who was having these discussions about Mrs. Cohen? I've never once heard anyone accuse her of being "two steps" from being a communist.

Truth be told there are enough shameful laughs/cries to go around at the expense of BOTH "dinosaur parties". While everyone is raising a symbolic leg to pee on "the other party," may I remind you that the ultimate joke is really on ALL OF US "little peoples" (the government always comes for the "little people's" money first....in both "red" and "blue" states)who give Uncle Sugar a blank check without adequate checks and balances. If you want to make some money on a lucrative T-shirt gig, sell ones that say "GM Got 25 Billion And All I Got Was This Stinking T-Shirt."

I think you're onto something there, reese bobby!

So Joe, what happened to your very gracious "concession speech" after the election? You've gone right back to slamming and insulting. You sure had me fooled, at least for a few days.

And 11:10? It's always been (correctly) pronounced as "Pock E Stahn." Just as it's "ee rock" and "ee ron," not "eye rack" and "eye ran."

Amen, Granny Dragon. It's just that we finally have a President who's intelligent enough, and cares enough to actually pronounce things correctly.

Anonymous said...

what does pronounciation have to do with spelling? it's spelled right. don't like it shove it.

i was not aware that there are people that can tell how i pronounce a word, merely by the way I spell it. take your meds and go catch some air.

8:29, read the comment thread and try to understand what is going on before making vapid points which have no relevance in the context of the conversation the adults are having. Thank you.

Anonymous said...

right joe. we all can say our peace here! then stop monitoring all comments and let the real thoughts come through. cause i can tell ya, when the election was going on you didn't post 90% of my comments that weren't bashing or biased like yours... you just didn't like the opposite view.

PMS-NBC apologized yesterday for trashing Palin in an article just before the election..."information wasn't researched or "properly vetted" before it was published." A little late, don't you think. Now, no matter her political views, stay away from Ms. Cohen. She's the best we got. Leave her alone.
Not to forget the media is controlled by the winner.

Hey, anonymous 8:29: What does pronounciation have to do with spelling? Are you kidding me? What is going on in your head? I simply pointed out that pock-e-stahn has always been the correct pronounciation of that country's name; Obama didn't change it!

As for your comment "i was not aware that there are people that can tell how i pronounce a word, merely by the way I spell it." Paraniod much?---Maybe it is YOU who needs to take your meds and get some air before you go "new-cue-ler."
