I have written to Senators Mikulski and Cardin and to Representative Gilchrist, asking them to look into Obama's actual citizenship status and his real background. Obama must reveal his personal info!!!!!

SOME people read books on a multitude of subjects in order to be uh, hmm, not sure how to explain to you eastern shore people, but here goes...to become EDUCATED and WORLDLY. SOME people like to learn about things other than crabcakes and NASCAR....
Joe, the book is not about crazy islamists, it's about rising global powers, China, Brazil, Russia, India, etc and their effect on American world stance.
Thanks to Obama and the rest of his liberal bunch in Congress, America is loosing ground worldwide. So maybe he'll learn something from the book, but I doubt it.

Glad you read the book--it is very interesting. But how the heck do you blame the liberals for this? I'm not trying to be argumentative, I really think that one of the main points of the book is to criticize both parties, but a lot of the blame is put squarely on Bush and is buddies.
His thesis is something that Republicans and Democrats should all agree with:

The fear and hatred that the conservatives use to go after the NASCAR public. It is almost as that group revels in their ignorance. I thought that being well-read and articulate was a thing to strive for. not the oposite.

Thank you for the succinct explanation. If anything, conservatives should be THRILLED he is reading this book! It is funny how a picture that is supposed to instill fear in us actually should be reasuring when people understand what is actually going on. In this case, the blog system worked!

Accordin to NYT's Thomas Friedman, "the basic argument of the book is that we can solve our problem by taking the lead in solving the world's problem." By which he means the way everyone is freaking out about the climate crisis.
From what I have heard, Obama would like to see the US rise as the industrial leader in "green" engineering and product manufacture, or some such, since the world is increasingly interested/desperate for such solutions. I am down with it. Bring manufacturing back to our shores!!

Well, lets do a little rational thinking. Obama's prized African, Muslim genetic heritage + Nation of Islam leader Farrakhan calling him the "Messiah" + friendships with America haters Wright & Ayers + little things like the book = a radical Muslim & destroyer America!

Lets face we have all been sold out on both sides. The old addage "Shoot the lawyers" has true meaning now LOL. The current system in in failure and must be fixed. I am not sure either of them can pull this off. The citizens of this county voted for a change in an overwhelming fashion and the politicians said "Screw YOU" I t was a clear and obvious sign that if it is happening on a county level then we all know it is happening on a national level. Elect someone who is true to the Americam cause and not wanting to fleece the people. Who in this race would that I am not sure. Obama scarey beyond words. Louis I hate the white man Farkhan has named O the messia because we all know the Black man is the chosen race. Hmmmmmmm I think I will sit this one out and wait for the civil war that will happen if he does not win or he wins and some idiot shoots him. I hope u all have a plan u may need it. We need to start on level that we can control City and Couty first. Get rid of all of them. The city needs a major overhaul. The county coucil pulled a fast one I lost respect for all of them.
