Remember CANDIDATE Louise Smith telling us all that she would make sure that the city's audit would get done on time? Do you remember reading in Tuesday's Daily Times that this year's audit WOULD be on time?
Will it? Of course not. Since when has Louise Smith told us the truth about something substantive? If the Daily Times had bothered doing a little checking, they would know that this year's audit will be AT LEAST two months late.

The weasel also promised to be a fiscal watchdog, but the City continues to bleed the taxpayers' money for things like the All-American City contest, a tent at the seafood festival in Crisfield and now a "Hospitality Enterprise Institute", not to mention what we can't see because they stopped doing a line item budget. Is she really a Republican?
Most likely it is the plan so that once again the citizens won't be aware of the new tax hike in the next budget. Because the budget once again will not be introduced until after the election just like the 14% TAX HIKE 2 YEARS AGO.
