Things Are Rocking At The New Republican Headquarters!

"Joe, worked over at republican headquarters today, and people are flowing in there looking for mccain-palin stuff.. we are all out but people are signing up to be notified like wildfire...she has def made this election.."

I happen to know that last weekend they were LOADED with material and I'm glad to know that Salisbury News played a roll in getting the word out there to everyone and things are moving that fast. I'll add, I happen to know for a fact that the Democrats are having a very difficult time getting ANY materials in to even open their facility, in which they do have but it has yet to be announced.

It's an exciting time for both Parties and who knows, maybe it will come down to who can get supplies first?

Why even bother? Obama has Maryland locked up, and Harris probably has District 1 locked up. Waste of money for either party to be putting in much work here, IMO.

Democratic Headquarters is open and located inside the City Center on the downtown plaza. More details coming soon. Come to the next Club meeting on Sept 17th at 7pm at the Knights of Columbus Hall off Emerson Ave to learn all the deatils and listen to our guest speaker, Dr. Frederickson, the new superintendent of Wico County Schools. :)

Seriously, don't you guys find it odd that the poster has Palin far outshadowing McCain? Are you all planning to vote for president, or vice president? You do understand that the guy you hated 4 weeks ago is still the head of this ticket, right? I'm going to laugh if McCain gets elected and then, as he promises, starts appointing Democrats to cabinet positions. How do you not see that he is cynically using the right wing of the party to get elected, and then he will abandon you? Remember what he said about Falwell and Robertson? McCain has suckered all of you in, and the funny thing is, there is only one guarantee this election: we will not have a true conservative as president.

I am glad that the "unbiased" Sby News was there!

Also... don't really get image stating "true change". McCain approves 90% of what Bush has done and will continue those directions.

So... how can you hate Bush but love the guy that will continue his ways??

Probably bc Obama isn't white

(oh yeah, I said it! Now let my "opinionated" comment get posted)

I'm voting for Palin. McCain is just an old fart anyways. All we gotta do is wait for him to kick the bucket, and Voila! Barracuda in charge!

I bet Obama doesn't even win his home state of Illinois. Who said I was right wing? I'm a moderate registered Democrat that will vote for Andy Harris and McCain. As much as I can't stand Bush I'd take him another four years over Obama.

At least we know what kind of idiot he is already. Don't wait for the Fat Lady to be singing "Mammy."

The Obama campaign has sent an entire platoon of lawyers out to Alaska to find dirt on Sara Palin. Is that the kind of person you want over control of your health care and social security. This guy Obama is DANGEROUS!

Anon @ 5:23 --

WRONG -- it's important for this 1st Congressional District to have huge Republican margins -- when Bush is Pres. it won't be forgotten with (non-earmark) funds for local goodies.

That's what politics is all about in our grap-bag system of government. Like it or leave it.

Plus, I bet VP Palin will come here often to hunt & fish -- she's a much better shot than Cheney, too.

All of the candidates have records that speak much louder than the rhetoric that the campaigns are letting loose. Anyone that thinks it's better to vote present than to actually have an opinion about important issues should not even be considered.
The Presidency is not something you can just be "present" for.
Andy Harris, more than most of us, understands health care. He knows what is good for both the patient and the phsycian. Knowledge like this is most important when it come to how to manage the health care of our country.

I cannot believe that I see and hear. I'm certain that Sarah Palin is a great mother, a nice lady, and will someday have experience to seek a big job. Not now. She has been called "someone the regular people can relate to". Fair enough. I'm a regular person, and I can really relate to her. And I'm not qualified to be President, either. It doesn't make either of us bad people.
Breath of fresh air=Unexperienced.
Do we trust a "hockey mom" to negotiate with the Iranians?

a certain amount of unexperience is exactly what we need...someone who is not tied like a puppet or laced with the current crooks in control....AND especially some one willing to cut cost and downsize
AND NOT AFRAID TO BLOW THE WHISTLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

HIP.BOOTS

Can't wait to follow that first 8 hour briefing immediately after the inauguration. If bho is elected, betcha he will come out of there with his "white half" showing.

Can anyone who thinks Gov. Palin is Not qualified to be VP, how can they explain the lack of experience from bho.

Wow. Now inexperience becomes a reason to vote for someone? You guys are contorting all over to justify your votes for Palin. McCain has you hoodwinked. At least Anon 6:50 is upfront about his or her racist views with the "Mammy" comment. It must feel good to finally get that off your chest and admit that you are racist. We don't want you in the Democratic party anyway, so feel free to change your registration.
