John McCain 26 Years 22 Years
Barrack Obama 143 days 0
Just think how great a professional of any kind you could be with only 143 days of experience!!!
People want change so badly? . . . .. maybe we should lower the experience requirement for doctors, lawyers, airline pilots, etc. This would cause some change!
Obama's 143 Days of Senate Experience
Just how much Senate experience does Barack Obama have in terms of actual work days? Not much.
From the time Barack Obama was sworn in as a United States Senator, to the time he announced he was forming a Presidential exploratory Committee, he logged 143 days of experience in the Senate.
That's how many days the Senate was actually in session and working.
The one single Senate committee that he headed never even met -- once.
After 143 days of work experience, Obama believed he was ready to be Commander In Chief, Leader of the Free World, and fill the shoes of Abraham Lincoln, FDR, JFK and Ronald Reagan.
Think about it.......143 days -- 20.4 weeks -- 4.7 months ...
Our children spend more time in pre-school getting ready for kindergarten.

much of the same can be said for Palin. you know she is going to be our president when Mccain keels over.
Hey but at least she's purty ta look at, huh?
there isnt going to be anything left to govern soon.
Math never lies. Thanks for bringing more facts to us about Nobamas inexperience. I don't understand how so many people can be for someone to run the most important job in the whole world. This is not hust a national position. This is for the President of the free world. John McCain has spent a half a century working for our interests in the free world. He's been all over, talked to more leaders, experienced more cultures that Nobama ever could.
Who would like it if someone at your job, that has only been their for 143 days, suddenly takes control of the whole company? We would all be outraged. We would feel like, who is this person that has just been here for six months? They can't even do the basics of what our current job is and they suddenly have the experience and knowledge to run the company? We would all be outraged. We would be lined up outside of HR for miles.
Well, that's what putting Nobama in office will be.
thats what amazes me! how could ANYONE even consider voting for this person? Would you hire a contractor to build your home with 4mnths experience? A doctor to operate on you w/4mnths? A mechanic to work on your car...4months?? Maybe you just fell for the used car{tell you anything you want to hear} salesman speil obama's so good at.
Hey 9:40--You Obama-supporters crack me up. When faced with his inexperience all you can do is compare your presidential candidate with our VP candidate. Yes, McCain is up in years but hardly at death's door. I have an uncle who is 90 and he's just as active as he was 20-30 years ago. Get real people, your grasping here!
Obama was a senator In Illinois for EIGHT years before becoming a U.S. senator Jan 4th, 2005.
The senator has the best economic policy according to most economist.
Plus he has a better understanding of what everyday people go through.
A lot of people of congress and the senate also have a ton more experience than a lot of people.
So we are in a crisis why?
Experience? Yeah Right!
Stalin also had a lot of experience--did that make him the best leader? McCain obviously is no Joe Stalin, but to reduce your vote down to the number of days someone held a leadership position rather than to gauge what that person actually did is ludicrous. McCain's ideas are old, out of touch, and are the very economic principles that led to today's debacle. He goes off to Washington to grandstand, and then his presence ends up tanking a bi-partisan agreement. Nice one, John!
Hey, 10:11 Did he learn "what everyday people go through" from preacher Wright?
Did Palin learn what "everyday people" go through while her minister was speaking in tongues?
Hmm. Experience begets knowledge right?

Wow, imagine how smart Obama will be in 26 years since he's already running circles around the Right (Which appears to be an incredibly wrong euphamism considering, doesn't it.)
Try not to get caught under the landslide in November.

Ok…. There have been several studies done over many years concerning experience. If you go by experience, Nixon was better than either of the Bushes. If you voted on experience, you picked James Buchanan over Abe Lincoln. However, Lincoln has been considered one of the best and Buchanan one of, if not, the worst presidents. By the way, Dwight D. Eisenhower had no political experience at all, and Hoover served on Cabinets (no political office).
Concentrate on the issues, not the number of years in the political zoo.
Hey T, your Dyslexia is acting up again. Don't worry I fixed your comment for you!

You had most of the following part right - again I added what you left out.
Try not to get caught under the McCain landslide in November.
The Left is right and the Right is wrong. Nuff said.
It is not the total number of years that is the point. It's the total number of years that a person has spent doing the work, both mistakes and successes, in the particular field that your applying for. No one is saying that Obama doesn't have any experience. No one is saying that the two candidates are even close, which would make it a mute point. Has John McCain made mistakes? Sure has he had success? Sure he has. Obama has had some of the same, just at a different level. Just not as many times. John McCain has made many friends over the years, from both sides of the two major parties, that would help him as our leader to get legislation passed that would help our country. We wouldn't have to worry about as many first term mistakes. This is important. Both of these gentlemen can do the job. John McCain just has more experience with Washington business, more experience with how our military runs, More experience doing what's right for America, regardless of what way his own party goes. Obama never once went against his party. He doesn't have any military experience. He doesn't have the decades of relationships that help put things together for the good of our country. McCain will have a cabinet that crosses all parties. He will be more concerned about all americans, than just his party. He will not turn our government into a socialist society. If you had any vision at all,you would understand that democrats want to take us to a socialistic state. If that goes forward, we will have a revolution that will bring our country back to the 1700s. Government needs to be smaller. How about Congress going into session and trying to repeal some laws instead of putting more on the books. Give us back our freedoms and gives us back our money. I'm tired of being micromanaged by millions of laws that restrict everything I do.
So when Obama wins, I think all of you who don't like him should move to Iran.
Joe, you don;t have to like Obama, and we all know at this point that McCain could like directly toyour face in your office building downtown then hold a "kill all the newborn puppies chainsaw rally" in the park and you would vote for him....however
At least find new, and maybe original, material to post to show your opposition to Barack Obama. You ahve posted this type of missive before, and you constantly complain about posters coyping the same information over and over in their comments.
I guess we'll see come November.....
McCain was smart in picking Palin, but he should have done his homework a little better. She came out strong looking like things were turning around. But then we found out most of her speech at the convention was distorted half truths. Like selling the jet on Ebay (false), firing the Chef (false), AND she is the Queen of receiving "Earmarks!" I'm guessing that's why the Republican committee wouldn't allow any reporters in to ask her questions when she met the heads of states.
McCain probably said, "Now, now.... You just sit, look pretty and leave the politics to me hunny!"

OK, win Obama wins I'll move to Iran and tell his relatives you said hello.
Mardela brought out a good point....
"He doesn't have the decades of relationships that help put things together for the good of our country."
That means "decades" of "favors" owed to the people that pushed him along in his career. The things that tear down government faster than anything else are the "Back Scratchers" through out the system. That being said, the person with the least time in office owes the least number of favores!
McCain is towing the line of a party with tons of experience! Of proven crappy leadership.
Are you people that afraid of changing things up, that you'll keep people in charge with so much "experience" in a system that is becoming obsolete?
It's like hiring a train engineer, since that's the way you've always traveled, to pilot the jet that you now have to travel in...because he's who you're used to.
Or the guy who ran the printing presses to be your webmaster.
Face it...everything is different! Economy & industry, energy, technology, education, diplomacy, warfare, everything.
McCain's experience is basically irrelevant at this point. Move on.
Anon 212 Barracks father was born in Kenya and his mother was born in Kansas. You will be hard pressed to find any realtives of his in Iran, but if you want go right ahead and look you idiot.
ANON 2:12 You would be hard pressed to find relatives of Obama's in Iran considering his father is from Kenya and his mother is from Kansas. In case you didnt know Kenya is on the east coast of Africa. Also his father was a chief economist for the country.
McCain's experience has not been as good as you folks think. Many of his Republican colleagues do not like him and do not trust him. During the primaries, Senator Thad Cochran of Mississippi said, "The thought of his being president sends a cold chill down my spine. He is erratic. He is hotheaded. He loses his temper and he worries me." That isn't some left wing nut, that is a Republican Senator! he is erratic, and his stunt over the debates is just one example.
Economic disaster in Germany led to the election of Hitler, WWII and Germany being crushed to rubble. Let's just hope our economic crisis doesn't prompt us to elect our first Muslim president who would lead us into greater defeat than Nazi Germany suffered.
1:21---no need to move to Iran...if Obama wins and does what he promises to do to our military they'll be taking us over soon enough.
Anon 3:31 Here is a test for you. Just what exactly did Obama say he was going to do to our military? If you answer this, make sure you give sources. Crediable sources.
ANON 3:00 I would like to know your sources on saying Obama is Muslim? YOU WILL NOT FIND ANY BECAUSE HE IS NOT MUSLIM.
George Washington, Roanld Reagan, FDR, Bill Clinton were not Senators
