You want to talk about ironic politics. What if I were to tell you to expect Wayne Gilchrest to endorse Frank Kratovill? That's right, a Republican will jump ship in the very near future and pull a Bill Duvall, cross the line, (which we all knew who he really was in the past anyway) and this man is now going to start wearing dresses instead of pants.
Greg Bassett, do you see the real man you stood behind all those years now? There's a very strong reason he was voted out of Ofice and because your Wife worked for him, you just couldn't open your eyes wide enough to see the reality of it all.
Nevertheless, you heard it here first Ladies & Gentlemen. Gilchrest will endorse Kratovill and I can't wait for all his Republican Supporters to see who this man really is and has been. A RINO. Or should I say, another Louise Smith?

And here all along I thought Gilchrest's popularity in the district was based on his independence and willingness to buck the gop on issues important to the district.
Imagine my surprise when I learn that his popularity in the district was because he was a tool of the Republicans.

It's not surprise to anyone that Gilchrest may endorse Kratovil. Don't think you alone are letting the cat out of the bag, as is the way you always think.
No one has officially announced it. It has been rumored and or imagined buut I got word last night from a VERY reliable source an announcement may be coming as early as today or this evening. They may choose to hold off but I can assure you, the announcement will be made very soon.
"Republican" Wayne Gilchrest is not jumping ship. Politically, he has always been a democrat.
