Salisbury Police Department Press Releases

On August 15, 2008 at approximately 10:33 pm, Officers of the Salisbury Police Department received a call to respond to a residence in the area of Handy’s Meadow, in Salisbury. It was reported by a witness that suspicious activity was observed in a residence whose owner was away from the residence, out of state. Officers responded, and upon checking the residence found the below listed suspects inside of the residence, without authorization.

ARRESTED #1: Erik Morris Dorman, 18 years of age Salisbury, Maryland
ARRESTED #2: Jeffrey Alan Dolan, 18 years of age Salisbury, Maryland
ARRESTED #3: Taylor Webb McCoun, 18 years of age Salisbury, Maryland
ARRESTED #4: Akasha Kamlesh Purohit, 18 years of Salisbury, Maryland
ARRESTED #5: 17 year old juvenile Salisbury, Maryland
ARRESTED #6: 15 year old juvenile Waterloo, Ontario, Canada
ARRESTED #7: 16 year old juvenile Salisbury, Maryland
ARRESTED #8: 16 year old Salisbury, Maryland

CHARGES: All charged with:

1. Fourth degree burglary

2. Trespassing

DISPOSITION:
Suspects # 1 through # 4, released to Booking
Suspects #5 through #8, released to parent or Guardian CC # 200800030273

On August 16, 2008 at approximately 2:00 am, Officers of the Salisbury Police Department received a call to respond to the parking lot of the Brew River Restaurant for the report of an assault. Upon arrival, the officers met with the victim who advised that he had been assaulted by the below listed suspect. Following the assault, the suspect took the victim’s property and damaged the property.

ARRESTED: Christopher Michael Hill, 22 years of age Fruitland, Maryland

CHARGES:
Second degree assault
Malicious destruction of property

DISPOSITION: Released to Central Booking CC # 200800030279

On August 17, 2008 at approximately 12:30 pm, Officers of the Salisbury Police Department were on routine patrol in the area of the “Boundless Playground” on Broad Street when they observed the below listed suspect in the area. The suspect was checked and found to be wanted on an outstanding Circuit Court Bench Warrant. The suspect was arrested and a search of his person, incident to arrest, revealed four (4) smoking devices, each containing suspected crack/cocaine residue.

ARRESTED: Gerald Littleton Dennis, 55 years of age Salisbury, Maryland

CHARGES:
Circuit Court Bench Warrant
Possession of CDS/paraphernalia (4 counts)

DISPOSITION: Released to Central Booking CC # 200800030424

On August 18, 2008 at approximately 12:30 am, Officers of the Salisbury Police Department received a call to respond to residence on South Division St. for the report of a sexual assault. Upon arrival, the officers were advised by the victim and family members that the below listed suspect had sexually assaulted the victim, a seven (7) year old female. A family member of the victim observed the incident involving the suspect, who is known to the victim’s family.

ARRESTED: Kenneth Gerald Stabb, 44 years of Salisbury, Maryland

CHARGES:
Third degree sex offense
Fourth degree sex offense
Second degree assault

DISPOSITION: Released to Central Booking CC # 200800030457

OMG!I know who that guy is!-that child molester used to live around here where I live.His wife ran over him with their car(on purpose) and it messed up his brain but he was a criminal with a mile long rap sheet before that.Hope he doesnt use his disability to get out of it-he deserves to be castrated for messing with a kid.And whoever let him around their kid should have known better-the guy is very visibly and obviously disturbed.
