On July 31, 2008 at approximately 10:22 am, Officers of the Salisbury Police Department were in the area of the Boundless Playground on Broad Street and observed the below listed suspect in possession of what appeared to be a controlled dangerous substance smoking device. The suspect was stopped, and the smoking device was located on her person and contained a quantity of suspected crack/cocaine.
ARRESTED: Jennifer Marie Joseph, 27 years of age Salisbury, Maryland
CHARGES: Possession of cocaine Possession of CDS/Paraphernalia
DISPOSITION: Released to Central Booking CC # 200800027712
On August 2, 2008 at approximately 3:02 am, Officers of the Salisbury Police Department received a call to respond to the area of E. Main St. and E. Church St. for the report of a subject in the street in possession of a board. The officers located the below listed suspect in the roadway, who was in possession of a board and was yelling and causing a disturbance in the area. The officer attempted, unsuccessfully, a number of times to quiet the suspect and to have him exit the roadway.
ARRESTED: John Eric Crockett, 39 years of age Salisbury, Maryland
CHARGES: Disorderly Conduct
DISPOSITION: Released to Central Booking CC # 200800028054
On August 2, 2008 at approximately 4:45 pm, Officers of the Salisbury Police Department received a call to respond to a business on Waverly Drive for the report of a motor vehicle accident in the parking lot. Upon arrival, the officers found that below listed suspect # 1 had driven into the lot and had struck another vehicle. Further investigation revealed that suspect # 1 had no driver’s license or vehicle insurance. During the investigation of the accident, management of the business attempted to have below listed suspect # 2 leave the property, without success.
ARRESTED #1: Victor Hernandez Guadarrama, 36 years of age Salisbury, Maryland

ARRESTED #2: Sophio Jose-Maria Lara, 42 yearsof age Salisbury, Maryland

On August 2, 2008 at approximately 7:30 pm, Officers of the Salisbury Police Department received a call to respond to the Food Lion on Nanticoke Road for the report of a shoplifter. Upon arrival, officers were advised by store personnel that employees had observed the below listed suspect take food and cosmetics from the store without making any attempt at payment. Store employees stopped the suspect, who was arrested by the responding officers. The stolen property was recovered.
ARRESTED: Karen Denise Holliday, 44 years of age Salisbury, Maryland
CHARGES: Theft (Over $ 100) Trespassing
DISPOSITION: Released to Central Booking CC # 200800028128
On August 3, 2008 at approximately 12:20 am, Officers of the Salisbury Police Department received a call to respond to the area of South Division St. for the report of a motor vehicle accident. Upon arrival, Officers located the below listed suspect, and suspect vehicle. It was determined that the suspect had struck three (3) different vehicles prior to stopping her vehicle. Contact with the suspect revealed that the suspect appeared to be driving under the influence of alcohol. In addition, it was found that the suspect had no driver’s license, and was operating the vehicle without insurance.

Jennifer Joseph is one of the many "girls of the night" that Salisbury has to offer... This is what, like her 15th or 16th arrest easy... & where do you think you will find her if you go lookin in the next couple days... I bet it aint locked up! Id even be willing to bet that when her case goes to court, she gets nothing but yet another slap on the wrist. Poor SPD spends half their time arresting people that the judges just turn loose back to the street. WTF?

I just read your blog about John Crockett a.k.a. owner of Skipjacks seafood. Just to let you know a bit more about his disorderly conduct on that morning, I am a customer at The Storage Center. I noticed that the Culver's (owners of The Storage Center) had put up a cute little salt treated fence along their driveway. When I went to pay my payment on my unit Monday morning, the fence was gone. When I asked what had happened to the fence that had only been place there a week, I was informed that Mr. Crockett had taken one of his refrigerated trucks and literally demolished the entire fence just prior to him being arrested!! What an ass! Maybe I'm missing something here but tearing up other people's property then being arrested for disorderly conduct? What kind of upstanding business man is this man supposed to be?

A bad day?!? Are you serious? A bad day for a normal person may result in some irritable attitude, a few unpleasant words and occasionally throwing an object of some sort! Not driving a refrigerated truck down a fence and destroying someone else's property. So...you mean to tell me...if I cook you some really good food and I have a bad day, I have the right to enter your property and do thousands of dollars worth of damage? Because I had a bad day...hmmm...I don't think so. Being a bully and thinking the law does not pertain to you does not make you a cranky person, it's called breaking the law and should be punished. I hope charges are pressed on him and for once, his money can't get him out of it. Still questioning the fact of how he obtained a liquor license when he's obviously right across the street from Pemberton elementary and definitely not 500 feet in the clear and how he's not in jail for the laws he's just broken...not to mention the fact that there's only two reason's to be on Church Street at 3:00 in the morning...
Well good crabs or not, I know John personally and this behavior does not surprise me. He does act like a bully and leaves a big question mark over his maturity level. A business owner should hold a certain level of maturity and appearance in this community and I haven't seen that out of him yet. Running down a fence with a refrigeration truck? That's not a bad day, that's serious issues. As for being on Church street at 3am, prostitution or drugs are the only thing that come to mind in that area at that time. If he's getting his good crabs there, I want no parts of it. I, for one, can find crabs somewhere else besides Skipjacks or Church street.
