Never heard of Mark Dumeyer--what does he do for a living and what makes him qualified to run for office in Fruitland ? Fruitland by the way is an up and coming town with some great people living there--how come none of the better qualified people ever run for office there?

If in fact that is his 1st grade picture in 1954 AND he was a child molester in the late 50's then that means he himself was a "child" when it happened, 12 or 13 years old. I can find nothing on this on the sex offender website and if your blog is the most "reliable" then this type of slander should be verifiable or not allowed in your comments.

I know I don't get out much but who is that guy?
He was 12/13 years old when he committed these acts. He was not prosecuted. He was sent to reform school as they called it. I witnessed his actions and he attempted to molest me. Believe me there weren't alot of resourses back then and to tell your friends or parents just wasn't done. It took me 30 years just to talk about it. You try carrying the shame for that long.

Like I said,I am not defending anyone who molests kids,even if he was still a kid himself.I am no expert but he had to learn the innappropriate sexual behavior from somewhere.Often when a younger person starts preying on those younger than themselves,they are "acting out" and attempting to assert control over another person much the way their attacker did to them-not in all cases but most of them.
And no I am not an expert but I have studied forensic psychology briefly and my sister(and best friend) is an RN and a grad student with extensive psychiatric training so its familiar territory.
